Charlize Theron is considering ending her involvement in action films, recognizing the toll they take on her physical well-being. The 48-year-old actress, known for her roles in major action franchises like Fast and Furious and Mad Max, is shifting her priorities as she ages, focusing on her health, particularly due to the injuries sustained during the production of action movies.

When questioned about her interest in continuing with adrenaline-packed films, Theron revealed to Allure, “The thing that really bums me out is that I make action movies now and if I hurt myself, I take way longer to heal than I did in my 20s.”

Drawing a contrast between her current physical state and her younger self, Theron, the star of Atomic Blonde, expressed that working out has become an energy-draining task. She reflected, “I wish I had my 25-year-old body that I can just throw against the wall and not even hurt tomorrow. Now, if I don’t work out for three days and I go back to the gym, I can’t walk. I can’t sit down on the toilet. It’s all those very real moments.”

Her concerns regarding potentially life-threatening injuries are not unwarranted. Theron disclosed a previous experience where she continued to work for two months despite suffering a torn ligament while filming The Old Guard, a situation exacerbated by the onset of COVID-19.

Furthermore, Theron’s dedication to her roles has led to personal sacrifices. She resorted to wearing a hand glove following an injury on a film set, emphasizing the physical demands of her chosen profession.

Snakes are rare predators that are both feared and despised. However, their extraordinary skills make them fascinating creatures. Now, a video of a reptile’s funny antics has left social media fans in stitches.

The short video, shared on Twitter by Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Parveen Kaswan, shows a snake grasping a rubber slipper and slithering away while holding its head high. “I wonder what this snake will do with that chappal. He got no legs. Unknown location,” Mr Kaswan stated in the post’s caption.

After a group of individuals observed the snake approaching their house off-camera, one of them decided to throw their pink rubber slipper at it, according to the footage. The lizard quickly snatches the footwear in its mouth and flees with its head up.

The video quickly became viral on the internet. Mr Kaswan tweeted the video on Thursday evening, and it has now received over 229,000 views and 7,200 likes.

While some individuals made assumptions about the snake’s behaviour in the comments area, others had amusing reactions.

“I guess bcoz of the taste or smell of rubber slipper, I have seen if few times. Might be it feels it was his prey!” wrote one user. “Cinderella – The Serpentine Edition,” someone else said.

“It’s amazing…it might possible that the snake think that a prey,” a third person commented. “It looks like he’s building something of his own, maybe a fort he looks very pleased with himself, dancing off like that, head way up in the air, practically prancing which that is very hard to do with no legs prancing.” “Fast and furious,” another wrote.

The location of this video’s filming is unknown.

The long-running series’ tenth movie, Fast X, is now in production and stars John, who turned his professional wrestling fame into a successful acting career. Scott Eastwood, Clint Eastwood’s hunky son who is a star in the film, was seen with him on the set.

John was dapper as he slid into a black and blue T-shirt that hugged his defined pecs and let him show off his toned arms. While portraying a scenario with a character who towered over him and was dressed in full military garb, Scott also looked sharp.

The two performers are part of a stellar group that also includes Brie Larson and Jason Momoa, as well as Vin Diesel and Charlize Theron, who are also returning franchise stars. On the meantime, a few protesters gathered in the street to voice their disapproval of the movie’s glorification of street racing.
