PTI-backed candidate withdraws in favor of Jahangir Tareen

MULTAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI) backed independent candidate from Lodhran Ifat Tahira has withdrawn from NA-155 in favor of Jahangir Tareen, chief of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP).

In Lodhran, PTI leader independent candidate Ifat Tahira Soomro met Chairman IPP Jahangir Tareen.

Ifat Tahira Soomro announced her withdrawal from NA 155 in favor of Jahangir Tareen.

Ifta Tahira Soomro was welcomed by Jahangir Tareen and vowed to do politics together.

On the other hand, Ifat Tahira Soomro said in a video statement announced her withdrawal from NA 155 Lodhran.

She said “I started practical politics from Lodhran against Siddique Baloch of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Siddique Baloch group has been propagating for two or three days that she has been kidnapped, this is false and false propaganda.

She said, “I was accused of money, which is based on lies”.

Ifat Tahira Soomro said that people should vote for Jahangir Khan Tareen in NA 155.

On the other hand, Hafiz Hatim, the brother of PTI’s woman candidate, Ifat Tahira Soomro dismissed claims of abduction and clarified his sister’s voluntary withdrawal from the election in NA-155 Lodhran.

Addressing the rumors circulated by the Siddique Baloch group, Hafiz Hatim asserted that the family is happily present and refuted any notions of being kidnapped.

IPP announces candidates for NA, PA seats

LAHORE: Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party(IPP) has released the list of candidates for national and Punjab assembly seats after seat adjustment with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

The Jahangir Tareen-led party has fielded 12 candidates for National Assembly seats in Islamabad and Punjab, while 27 candidates will contest for Punjab Assembly seats.

IPP chief Jahangir Khan Tareen will contest from NA-149, NA-155, and PP-227.

IPP President Abdul Aleem Khan will contest from NA 117 and PP 149 while Ghulam Sarwar Khan will be the IPP candidate from NA 54 and  Firdous Ashiq Awan from NA 70.

Similarly, Rana Nazir Khan NA 79, Gul Asghar Khan NA 88, Humayun Akhtar Khan NA 97 Faisalabad, Muhammad Hashim Dogar NA 133 Kasur, Nauman Langriyal NA 143 Sahiwal and Fayyaz ul Hasan Chauhan are IPP candidates from PP 17.

The issue of the ticket of Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party(IPP) on NA 48 Islamabad is still pending.

PTI-Nazriati issues tickets to PTI candidates

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has introduced plan B for upcoming general elections and directed its party National and Provincial Assembly candidates to submit tickets on the symbol of batsman.

Earlier, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf had announced the names of its candidates for the National and Provincial Assembly seats.

However, now in the statement issued by PTI, it has been said that the tickets of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Nazriati have been issued to the candidates of the National and Provincial Assembly.

The party directed National and Provincial Assembly candidates to submit the tickets of PTI Nazriati in the offices of Returning Offices(ROs) and District Returning Offices (DROs).

Chairman of PTI-Nazriati, Akhtar Iqbal Dar, has issued tickets to PTI’s candidates on the symbol of the batsman.

PTI has directed candidates to register complaints with the district, provincial, and central election commissions if ECP refuses to accept their tickets.

PTI has also instructed candidates to submit written complaints to the district and provincial election commissioners.

Jahangir Tareen made Humayun Akhtar Khan wear the party muffler and welcomed him him on joining the party .

Later, while addressing a press conference former federal minister Humayun Akhtar Khan said that he separated from PTI after the May 9 incidents, after consulting Jahangir Tareen and Aleem Khan among others.

Jahangir Tareen said welcomed Humayun Akhtar Khan over joint the IPP and added he has old relations with Humayun Akhtar.

He said that Humayun Akhtar has been given the post of Senior Vice President in the party.

LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP)  have reached an understanding on seat adjustment for upcoming general elections 2024.

The meeting between IPP chief Jahangir Tareen  and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif was held at Model Town.

PML-N’s leader Rana Sanaullah, Ayaz Sadiq and IPP senior leader Aun Chaudhry were also present in the meeting.

Sources said that political situation was discussed in the meeting and seat adjustment was also discussed.

Sources said that between PML-N and IPP it was agreed on the seat adjustment.  The decision of seat adjustment will be finalized in next meetings.

The seat adjustment was possible in various regions, including Lahore, Sahiwal, Lodhran, and Rahim Yar Khan, among others.

It should be noted that the leader of the PML-N Nawaz Sharif went to meet the leader of the Muslim League Quaid-e-Azam, Chaudhry Shujaat, at his residence after 15 years.

LAHORE: Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) has announced a schedule public gathering from October 28 to December 09.

The IPP is ready to demonstrate political power and announced the schedule of rallies and public gatherings from October 28 to December 9.

IPP will make a political show tomorrow at Jahanian Stadium in Khanewal, where IPP patron-in-chief Jahangir Tareen, Abdul Aleem Khan, Firdous Ashiq Awan, Aoun Chaudhry and others will address the public gathering.

IPP  will hold rallies in 9 districts in the first phase, Hafizabad on November 3, and Narowal on November 9.

Apart from this, a political power show will be held in Layyah on November 12, Kasur on November 17, Gujranwala on November 20, Jhang on November 24, Sahiwal on December 2, and Faisalabad on December 9.

In the second phase, public gatherings will be organized in Multan, Rawalpindi, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, and Bahawalpur.

Former PTI MNA Andleeb Abbas, MPA Sadia Suhail, and MPA Sumaira Bukhari announced their joining of the IPP in a meeting with party Patron-in-Chief Jahangir Khan Tareen in Lahore.

On this occasion, IPP spokesperson Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that political sisters are welcome in the party.

On the other hand, Andalib Abbas said that what happened on May 9 should not have occurred. She said no individual can be bigger than a single goal.

Earlier, the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) invited PTI’s former minister Ghulam Sarwar to join the party.

According to sources, Ghulam Sarwar Khan has had several meetings with IPP chief Jahangir Tareen, but Ghulam Sarwar is waiting for Chaudhry Nisar’s political decision in his constituency.

According to the sources, IPP is also in contact with a former MNA of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf from Islamabad, but the former MNA is interested in contesting the election as an independent candidate.

ISLAMABAD: Istehkam-i-Pakistan Party (IPP) Central Information Secretary Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan announced that the party will hold worker conventions and public gatherings across the country from October 13.

Addressing a press conference, she said, “Under the leadership of Jahangir Khan Tareen and party president Abdul Haleem Khan, IPP has decided to organize worker conventions and public gatherings from October 13 throughout the country. These public gatherings will demonstrate that IPP represents the public at the grassroots level.”

Following the party’s registration with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), she said IPP is embarking on a journey dedicated to serving the people of Pakistan.

Dr. Awan emphasized that with the support of the masses, IPP aimed to fulfill the dreams of Allama Muhammad Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah for a prosperous Pakistan.

She regretted that while some parties have promoted the slogan of “respect the vote,” for their interest IPP will give “respect to the voters,” who are the real stakeholders in the progress, prosperity, and development of the country.

She further emphasized that the country required leadership that serves public and national interests rather than advancing personal agendas.

IPP is determined to lead the nation towards progress, prosperity, and development. Dr. Awan added.

“The objective of IPP’s politics is to unify politics and the state and bring the public together on one platform for the betterment of the country.”

She said, IPP aimed to unite a nation divided along religious and political lines, harnessing the power of the people for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan. She said the party’s manifesto revolves around working towards the country’s progress while seeking the trust and input of the public.

Lahore: The Istehkam e Pakistan Party (IPP) has requested the election symbol of Eagle (Shaheen) from the Election Commission of Pakistan.

The Istehkam e Pakistan Party has filed an application for registration with the Election Commission of Pakistan and has also submitted an application for an election symbol.

The Istehkam e Pakistan Party has asked the Election Commission for the election symbol of Eagle (Shaheen).

IPP Chairman Jahangir Tareen, Aleem Khan will be the President, the documents signed by Aleem Khan have been submitted to the Election Commission of Pakistan.

Party manifesto and declaration of party officials have also been submitted by IPP to Election Commission.

The Secretary General of the Istehkam e Pakistan Party will be Aamir Kayani, Aun Chaudhry will be the Additional Secretary General while Firdous Ashiq Awan will be the Central Secretary of Information.

It should be remembered that the Election Commission has asked for applications from eligible political parties to obtain election symbols for the elections of the National and Provincial Assemblies.

He said that Advisor Tourism and Sports Aun Chaudhry and Special Assistant Nauman Langrial will remain part of the federal cabinet until the government’s term is completed.

On the other hand, Advisor to Prime Minister Aun Chaudhry also denied the news of his resignation from the cabinet and said that he is a part of the Prime Minister’s team and will remain until the completion of the government’s term.

It should be noted that Aun Chaudhry is the advisor to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sports and Tourism and Nauman Langrial is the Special Assistant.
