ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) reserved its decision on the allocation of the electoral symbol ‘eagle’ to the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party, (IPP).
A three-member ECP bench headed by Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja, heard the legal representative of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party.
The IPP counsel appealed to the Commission to allot the party the election symbol of ‘eagle’.
Upon this, the CEC asked him to provide alternative preferences. Subsequently, the Election Commission postponed its decision regarding the allocation of election symbol to the IPP.
