Juhi Chawla was crowned Miss India in 1984, and her breakout performance came in the April 1988 film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. Juhi provided an insight into her life outside of acting in an old video that was shot a few months after the release of her movie. She also discussed how her life altered as a result of the popularity of Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. Juhi discussed her goals in the 1988 interview, including acquiring a large home and a fleet of luxury vehicles in addition to being a major movie actress. With Sultanat, Juhi made her Bollywood debut in 1986.A contemporary retelling of Romeo and Juliet, Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak starred Juhi Chawla. She appeared in it with Aamir Khan. Aamir and Juhi later worked in many films together like as Ishq and Hum Hain Raahi Pyar Ke. Juhi discussed her dreams in one of her first interviews after the movie became a box office success.

Juhi spoke with Lehren in 1988 and remarked, “What do I imagine? Well, I now want to become a famous person someday. Bohut achi gaadiya hongi mere paas (I will have many good automobiles), a nice big, big house, and possibly one nice guy.” She also revealed she spends her time ‘fooling around’ with friends, when not filming for a movie. Juhi noted that in her spare time, she plays badminton or attends dance classes.

Juhi replied, “Aaj kal mujhe bade phones aate hai,” when asked how her admirers treat her. ek din mein dus-bees zaroor ayenge. Toh main phone le leti hoon kyunki unse baat karni chahiye kabhi-kabhi. Jab main phone pe aati hoon toh unhe samajh nahi aata ki hum kya kehein? “Are you actually Juhi?” asked Kehte. And it’s bad when I say, “Yes, it’s me, Juhi,” because they put the phone away when I say, “Kya kahein? There are nearly 100 Aaj kal kafi letters, as well as uncountable Kafi conversations from Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, as well as har ek mein yeh hoga zaroor ki humne dus bar dekhi and humne pandreh baar dekhi.

Aamir has had white hair for a long time, as seen in a few pictures. For his daughter Ira Khan’s engagement reception in November of last year, he kept the same appearance.

Aamir wore black hair to his reunion with his 3 Idiots co-stars Sharman Joshi and R Madhavan last month. In addition to promoting his Gujarati flick Congrats, Sharman posted a video from a stadium. They were all three observed wearing red uniforms. In the video, Madhavan approaches Sharman while he is attempting to talk about his Gujarati film Congrats and interrupts him. Sharman attempts to speak again but Aamir cuts him off. The title of the movie confuses both Aamir and Madhavan.

In August of last year, Aamir’s movie Laal Singh Chaddha was released. The movie received favorable to inconsistent reviews, but it failed to generate the necessary response at the box office. After that, he avoided the spotlight and made a rare appearance at the Salaam Venky film launch starring Kajol. In the movie, he made a cameo.

When asked what was keeping him occupied right now, Aamir responded, “Nahin main kuch nahin kar raha hoon. Ek saath lagatar kaam kiya hai bahut saalon se. Toh is waqt main thoda waqt family ke saath guzaarna chah rah hoon aur Paani foundation ka kaam chal rah hoon, aur bhi kaam hoon. Ek saal ke baad aaunga acting thoda.
(I am not doing anything at present. For years I’ve been working continuously, so I decided to spend some time with my family. I am also working on Paani Foundation. There is other stuff as well. As far as acting is concerned, I’ll return after a year).”

Last but not least, there is Kareena’s classic Pia appearance, complete with an orange top and scarlet helmet.

Seeing the images brought back memories for fans of the actor and the film. One admirer commented, “Thank you all for sharing some of unseen, Pia is always a wonderful. Another person said, “You blended looks 4 and 5 to create Anushka’s character’s look in PK.” A fan said, “Helmet and shaadi ka jora>>.”

In the movie, Pia studied medicine and was the youngest of Viru Sahastrabudhi’s three children, the dean of the engineering college played by Boman Irani. She falls in love with Aamir Khan’s Rancho, but he departs with his buddies in order to keep a commitment he made years earlier. Yet years later, in Ladakh, his friends and Pia manage to track him down, and the story has a happy conclusion.

The Crew, The Birmingham Murders, and The Devotion of Suspect X are Kareena’s next films. Her most recent film, Laal Singh Chaddha, also starred Aamir.

Naseeruddin Shah believes that while South films “may be crude in taste”

The films being made in the Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu film industries, according to Naseeruddin Shah, are more inventive and original than those made in the Hindi film industry. Even if South Asian films “may be coarse in their taste,” the veteran actor said, “their execution is always perfect.”
At the domestic box office, recent movies like KGF, Pushpa: The Rise, Kantara, and RRR have surpassed Hindi ones. The box office performance of numerous Hindi films starring A-list actors like Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan has been poor over the past 12 months. Selfiee, Akshay’s most recent film, had a less successful Friday opening than anticipated.

In an interview with Indian Express, the veteran actor discussed why he believed films from the South were faring better than those from the Hindi film industry and consequently had a greater appeal to viewers. He declared, “Even the mainstream Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu films are creative. They are unique. Although they may have crude tastes, they always execute everything perfectly. This is something that I have long discovered. Even if the song picturization in Jeetendra and Sridevi’s cheesy movies was ridiculous, with hundreds of matkas (clay pots) lined up in a row, at least it was an original concept.”

Naseeruddin continued: “It wasn’t just a single dancer in the middle and a line of girls moving erratically. I therefore firmly believe that South Indian films put in more effort, and it is obvious why their films are performing better than the majority of Hindi cinema.”

The actor’s next appearance will be in the Zee5 series Taj-Divided By Blood as Emperor Akbar. On March 3, a historical drama with a fresh take on the Mughals will be released. Aashim Gulati plays Prince Salim, Taha Shah plays Prince Murad, Shubham Kumar Mehra plays Prince Daniyal, Rahul Bose plays Mirza Hakim, and Dharmendra as Sheikh Salim Christi in the television series. Aditi Rao Hydari plays Anarkali.

In addition to Tabu, Arjun Kapoor, Radhika Madan, Konkona Sensharma, Kumud Mishra, and Shardul Bhardwaj, his final film role was in Kuttey. Aasmaan Bhardwaj’s first film to be released in a director’s chair went poorly at the box office.

Waheeda Rehman once said to C Rajagopalachari, “Musalman ladki Bharatnatyam kar rahi hai”

Recently, seasoned performer Waheeda Rehman shared memories of her very first dancing performance. She appeared as a guest on the most recent episode of Arbaaz Khan’s talk show The Invincibles, where she discussed her experience breaking into the movie business and revealed a number of little-known facts. When she was just 7 or 8 years old, she stated that she wanted to learn how to dance.
At the age of 17, Waheeda Rehman made her acting debut in the Telugu film Rojulu Marayi (1955). Her career continued to be heavily reliant on dance. Pyaasa (1957), Kaagaz Ke Phool (1959), Chaudhvin Ka Chand (1960), and Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam (1960) are some of her best-known works (1962). Her most recent appearances were in the 2006 films Delhi 6 with Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor and Rang De Basanti with Aamir Khan (2009).

The 85-year-old actor told Arbaaz that she had danced for India’s first viceroy, C. Rajagopalachari, when he inquired about her maiden performance. He was scheduled to visit Visakhapatnam, where her father was then stationed, she said, adding, “C. Rajagopalachari, unka program bana Visakhapatnam ane ke liye (He was to visit Visakhapatnam)”. Unhone kaha, MS Subbulakshmi ko bulao, Kamala Lakshman… And no kisses from Pata… Toh Delhi se ek telegram aya saying no one outside of Visakhapatnam; the artist must be local. They needed local performers for the show but were unable to get any other than a few sitar players. Fir bhi unhone idhar-udhar dhundha toh koi veena bajane wale mil gaye.

Waheeda’s father, Rehman, said, “Toh unhone kaha Rehman abhi toh tujhe karana hi parega apni beti se dance. Waheeda Rehman, toh Musalman ladki hai, C Rajagopalachari ne puch ye naam declare kia? They convinced my father to have me do Bharatnatyam. Maine aaj tak nahi suna Musalman ladki Bharatnatyam kar rahi hai. C Rajagopalachari questioned how a Muslim girl could execute Bharatnatyam dance when my name was announced during the performance),” she continued.

She added that C Rajagopalachari continued to praise the senior actor’s father, an IAS officer at the time, in his speech. She cited the Viceroy as stating, “I would like to meet him” in reference to her father. Extremely daring and brave of him.’ She remembered that her event-related photo was featured the following day on the front page of a newspaper. She is shown in the picture receiving a medal.

The actor-producer teased the upcoming episode with Waheeda on Thursday, in which the seasoned performer talked candidly about her early career. She remembered how her father would frequently remind her mother to look after her because he was concerned about her after observing that she would act out movie sequences in front of a mirror.

Waheeda Rehman has appeared in films such as Pyaasa (1957), Kaagaz Ke Phool (1959), Chaudhvin Ka Chand (1960), and Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam after making her acting debut in the Telugu film Rojulu Marayi in 1955. My father used to warn my mother to take care of me because he was afraid I would go insane. Maine kaha mera dil karta hai ki main jab hasoon toh duniya hase aur main jab royun toh duniya roye He called me one day and asked why I do that, to which I replied that I do it because I want to make the world smile  and cry when I cry).” Arbaaz then said to her, “Yeh toh phir actor banne ke hee asar hai (You showed all the signs of becoming an actor).”

Waheeda remembered being asked to change her name for movies. In the advertisement, she discussed her response to it and stated, “I’m sorry, that’s my name. Why should I alter my name when my parents gave it to me in the first place? I’m prepared to work hard, but there are a few things about which I don’t feel comfortable, therefore I won’t do them because I won’t be able to. Din raat mehnat karne ke liye taiyar hoon main.”

This month, the seasoned actor turned 85.

An excerpt from actor R Madhavan’s audition for the character of Farhan Qureshi in the movie 3 Idiots was released by HT City. 3 Idiots, a 2009 movie directed by Rajkumar Hirani, was made by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The movie also stars Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor, Boman Irani, and Omi Vaidya in addition to Madhavan.

R Madhavan repeated numerous lines in a video that HT City just released on Twitter while applying for the 2009 movie. Its post’s caption read, “The audition tape for @ActorMadhavan to play Farhan Qureshi in the movie 3 Idiots has gone viral, leading many to claim that Madhavan didn’t need to try out for the part. Madhavan, R. Madhavan, three fools from Bollywood, viral videos, and more.”

Madhavan replied in response: “Heyyy.. too kind, thank you.. but I insist on going through the audition process for any role I take on, so I don’t have to take the test on the first day of filming (grinning face with smiling eyes, grinning face with star eyes and folded hands emojis). The importance of auditioning cannot be overstated (red heart and hug emojis).”

Supporters praised R Madhavan’s response. Someone remarked, “Maddy said it well! Being a competent actor does not automatically make one the ideal choice for a part. Vidhu Vinod Chopra Productions posted the footage for the first time on Instagram last month. “@actormaddy’s 3 Idiots audition is evidence that he was always intended to play Farhan Quereshi,” the caption said. Do you see any dialogues that weren’t included in the final version of the film? Please share your favorites in the comments section. A fan responded, “He doesn’t need any auditions,” in response to it. “He is undoubtedly one of the finest actors,” read a comment. Someone else said, “Quality acting.”

Sharman Joshi posted a video on Instagram earlier this month showing his 14-year reunion with his 3 Idiots co-stars Aamir and Madhavan. “3 idiots are promoting the Congrats film, which is releasing today,” Sharman wrote as the caption for the video.

Salman Khan revealed everything when he shared room with Juhi Chawla

And if so, matlab geela towel woh jiss se hum nahate hain na, usi towel ko le ke sote hain. Or sone ke liye geela takya. They have famished us, Bas aisa he hai. 15 chickpeas in the morning and 15 in the evening are provided to us. We use the same damp towels that we use for baths as cushions when we sleep.”

Salman had responded as follows when asked about the “lodging and boarding” plans: “I have a pandreh-bees log in my heart, please. Aamir Khan, Aamir ki biwi, Juhi Chawla, Juhi ki maa, Divya Bharti, Divya ki ma, and Juhi ke father are among the people that are mentioned in the song “Mere Saath Hai” from the movie “Kamre”. Ek kamre mein hain, hum log sab. We share a room, 15 to 20 of us, Sab Chatai pe. We all share a room, including me, my brother, my mother, my sister, Aamir, his wife, Juhi, her parents, Divya, and her mother. We use mats to sleep on the ground).”

A fan page recently posted a clip of the interview on Instagram, and in response, someone remarked about Salman, “Very lovely, young, kind.” One more person commented, “Salman looks so innocent in this vid.” “Salman’s voice is quite different in this video,” an admirer added. In some of the wedding images that were posted on social media, Aamir stood out while sporting a walking stick while wearing a cream kurta with mundu (a cloth worn around the waist, primarily in south India). In response to his photos on Reddit, someone wrote: “How did Aamir Khan’s leg fare? He uses a walking staff, but why?” Another person mentioned how the actor has been seen at numerous weddings all around the nation. He noted: “These days, Aamir Khan attends a lot of weddings. If these are paid appearances, I wonder. He might be attempting to recoup some of the damages suffered by Lal Singh Chaddha (2022).”

Prior to that, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s opulent Jaisalmer wedding was also attended by Prithviraj and his wife Supriya. In a photograph taken during the wedding festivities, the actor posed with director Karan Johar. For a wedding party that Sidharth and Kiara hosted, Prithviraj wore a white sherwani, while Supriya wore an orange lehenga. For the festivities, Karan wore a black and yellow ethnic ensemble.

Actor Javed Khan Amrohi passed away on Tuesday at a hospital in Mumbai. He was well known for his roles in hit movies like Andaz Apna Apna (1994) and Lagaan (2001). Lung failure caused his death.

Javed’s death was confirmed by filmmaker Ramesh Talwar to PTI, who also learned that the actor, who starred in the once-popular TV series Nukkad, had a breathing condition.

Javed was receiving treatment in Mumbai after spending a year in bed. He continued, “He died at the hospital about 1 pm as both of his lungs collapsed.

The news of Javed’s passing was also posted on actor Akhilendra Mishra’s Facebook page. The two frequently collaborated on projects. “Humble homage to Javed Khan sir: Vinamra shraddhanjali, behtareen abhineta, varishta rangkarmi IPTA ke sakriya sadasya. Best actor, senior artist, and current IPTA member).”

Javed’s final rites would be performed at the Oshiwara Kabristan at 7.30 p.m., he further informed PTI. Javed, who was in his 70s, is survived by his daughter and son.

Amrohi began his career in theater after receiving his degree from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), and he has since acted in over 150 movies and almost a dozen TV series in smaller but important roles.

In the television program Nukkad from the 1980s, Javed played the barber Karim. Javed portrayed Anand Akela in the comedy Andaz Apna Apna. Anand was one of the suitors for Raveena (Raveena Tandon), but eventually decided to help Aamir Khan instead. He portrayed a cricket pundit in Ashutosh Gowariker’s Lagaan and a member of the Indian Women’s Hockey team’s support staff in Shah Rukh Khan’s Chak De India (2007).

Danish Husain, an actor, expressed his sorrow at Javed’s passing on Twitter, writing, “Gutted to learn of #JavedKhanAmrohi Bhai’s demise. This season seems to be one of goodbyes. Condolences to his family, friends, coworkers, and so on and so forth at @iptamumbai #Nukkadd #Lagaan.

Along with these films, Javed also contributed to Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke, Laadla, and Ishq. He appeared in both the 1991 original and the 2020 sequel of Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak. He also contributed to the critically acclaimed TV show Mirza Ghalib from 1988.

The cast and crew of the upcoming movie Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan recently revealed the song Naiyo Lagda by Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde. Fans are currently inconsolable over an edited version of the song, in which Salman can be seen dancing to the film Dangal’s theme tune (2016). On Monday, Daler Mehandi’s surprising Dangal song crossover with Naiyo Lagda was published on Instagram and has since received a variety of responses.

Instagram user Oye Ankit posted the modified clip with the caption, “Galat Dangal download karli (Downloaded the wrong Dangal).” He captioned the picture, “Brother, I’m leaving now. Plz save my pals,” in the phrase “Bhai main gaya ab, bacha lena doston mujhe please.” Salman Khan’s hook dance from the original Naiyo Lagda music video, which has been drawing notice ever since the song’s debut, could be seen in the video while Pooja made a brief appearance. Dangal is surpassed by Pathaan as the highest-grossing Hindi movie

Despite this, Dangal’s total international earnings are still far in advance at 2000 crore, thanks to its wild success at the Chinese box office in 2017. Given that Dangal was also released in Mandarin in China and earned over 1200 crore, Pathaan has just edged out Dangal in the Hindi version of the competition.

The new numbers were tweeted by both the movie’s makers, Yash Raj Films, and film industry analyst Ramesh Bala. Pathaan has made a total of $88.92 million (or around 730 crore) worldwide, according to a brand-new poster with the most recent box office figures. It has brought in gross receipts of 453 crore in India and 276 crore abroad (gross).

The espionage thriller Pathaan centers on Shah Rukh‘s titular Indian secret agent, who reappears to stop a terrorist attack on the Indian capital that is being plotted by Outfit X, a group of hired guns lead by Jim (John). Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana play important roles in the movie as well.

Shah Rukh’s first leading role on a major motion picture in four years is in Pathaan. In the spy world created by producer Aditya Chopra, it follows War, which starred Hrithik Roshan, and the previous three films Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, and Tiger Zinda Hai 2. Salman played the role of Tiger in Pathaan.

In the biopic Rocketry: The Nambi Effect about physicist Nambi Narayanan, which he also acted in last year, R Madhavan made his directorial debut.

Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, became the second Hindi movie to break the 300 crore milestone most quickly after Baahubali 2: The Conclusion after earning 21 crore crore nett on its seventh day in India. The first week domestic box office earnings for Pathaan currently total 315 crore nett. The January 25 release of Pathaan also features Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Ashutosh Rana, and Dimple Kapadia.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, who tweeted on Wednesday, Pathaan, which has been setting and shattering records since it was released worldwide, entered the 300 crore club in just seven days, breaking the previous record held by Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’s Hindi version since 2017, which needed 10 days to do so. In comparison to Aamir Khan’s Dangal (2016), he said that the Hindi version of KGF: Chapter 2 (2022) achieved the 300 crore mark in 11 days. Pathaan, a Siddharth Anand-directed film, was made available in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu the day before Republic Day in 2023. Actor Salman Khan also makes a guest appearance in the action movie produced by Yash Raj Films.

Since its debut, Pathaan has been shattering records. The movie became the fastest Hindi film to join the 200 crore club when it crossed the 200 crore nett threshold in only four days in the past. With its amazing advance bookings, the movie Pathaan broke records even before it was released. On January 20, advance reservations for Pathaan were available.

According to reports, theater owners in various regions of India decided to screen the movie early in the morning due to rising demand. Prior to Pathaan’s opening day, sources stated that the morning showings of the movie had been canceled due to demonstrations outside Indore theaters. After receiving demands for a boycott and demonstrations against the movie’s cast and crew in recent weeks, Pathaan was finally released on January 25.

Shahid joked that he would want to see Mahira play the role of a courtesan played by Saima Khan and Mehwish play the part of Madiha Shah.

An unhappy husband and member of the Syed tribe named Zil-e-Shah (Shaan) falls in love with Taari (Saima), a courtesan who comes to perform in his hamlet. His wife’s (Madiha Shah’s) and family disapprove of their union.

When asked by the host Uzair Anwer who he would want to play him in a biopic if one were to be filmed, he said, “A young actor.” The seasoned artist had four choices (Hamza Ali Abbasi, Ahad Raza Mir, Bilal Abbas, and Imran Ashraf).

 

These younger actors representing him in his biopic didn’t exactly excite the Majajan icon. In fact, he made a suggestion that Shaan himself could star in a movie about him.

Shaan stated, “I think if they would have cast Sanjay Dutt in Sanju (2018), it would have been better. I personally feel that a biopic should be made on an actor when he passes away.”

He added, “Jesa bhi kaam kartay hain, they are all good actors, and they’ll approach the character according to their own set of skills.”

Shahid concluded by saying, “Its a difficult question and I haven’t yet given it a thought.”

When questioned about why he turned down the Aamir Khan and Asin-starring Bollywood flick Ghajini, Shaan responded, “There are some differences between the two nations (India and Pakistan), so picking up a villain from Pakistan puts more pressure and limelight on that relationship. Unko Villain sirf yahan pe nazar aatay hain or heroes sirf wahan pe. (They only see villains in Pakistan and heroes in India.)

The seasoned actor continued, “Also, the geopolitical system, Both India and Pakistan have a lot of baggage of the past and in the present as well. I think whatever is happening in India with Muslims is heartbreaking. I believe as a person you start creating an opinion and you have a set of rules or morals or values that you would rather put before making a financial decision.”

Next, we asked Shaan who his favourite leading females would be for a remake or a follow-up to his 2006 Punjabi movie Majajan. On March 24, 2006, the movie opened throughout all of Pakistan. In the cinemas of Lahore, Majajan celebrated its Diamond Jubilee (100 weeks).

The Khuda Kay Liye actor eagerly added that he thinks Mehwish Hayat is stunning and would like to cast her as his other main woman. He also said that he thinks Mahira is extremely wonderful and would want her as one of the heroines.

Shahid joked that he would want to see Mahira play the role of a courtesan played by Saima Khan and Mehwish play the part of Madiha Shah.
