If Naatu Naatu receives an Oscar, according to Ram Charan: “I doubt I’ll accept it”

The song Naatu Naatu from SS Rajamouli-directed RRR has entered the Oscars race in the Best Original Song category.

In an interview, actor Ram Charan, who is in the US promoting his film RRR in advance of the Academy Awards in 2023, discussed how he would feel if the song Naatu Naatu from RRR ended up winning the Oscar. He declared that he would not believe it and that it would be extremely significant for all of India.

The film RRR, which was directed by SS Rajamouli, contains the song Naatu Naatu, which has been nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Song. Naatu Naatu has gained international acclaim. Many videos of western theatergoers dancing to the song in recent months have appeared on social media.

Ram Charan discussed RRR’s popularity in an interview with ABC News Live and how the song Naatu Naatu came to be known all over the world.

Ram Charan responded when asked what he would exactly feel if Naatu Naatu won an Oscar: “I don’t think I’ll believe it. They need to wake me up and tell me to go get it. Push me onto the stage. I’ll be the most content. It won’t be our success, in my opinion; it will be the success of the Indian film industry. No one of us can claim ownership.

It’s a beautiful space we are all in right now, he remarked, speaking of representing the entire nation on a worldwide scale. I consider it to be more of an obligation than an accomplishment. Simply put, I don’t want it to be a passing fad. We continually try to improve and return to the Oscars or Golden Globes in this methodical procedure.

RRR, a fictional tale set in the 1920s before independence, was released in theaters last March. It is based on the lives of two real heroes and well-known revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Tarak was portrayed as Bheem while Ram Charan played Ram.

Around 1000 crore rupees were made during the movie’s theatrical run. Prior to the Oscars in 2023, the movie will receive a significant re-release in the US on March 3.

Recently, the 95th annual Academy Awards nominations were made public. SS Rajamouli’s Telugu film RRR received a nomination for the Best Original Song category for its musical song Naatu Naatu. Even Anupam Kher is a fan of the MM Keeravani song, which has caused crowds to physically dance in the aisles of theatres where it has been performed. The Kashmir Files, directed by Vivek Agnihotri, which is now out of the running for an Oscar in 2023, was mentioned by the legendary actor in a recent interview in addition to his praise for RRR and its song Naatu Naatu.

Earlier, a number of Indian movies, including Rishab Shetty’s Kannada film Kantara and Gangubai Kathiawadi with Alia Bhatt, made it to the list of 301 movies that might be nominated for an Oscar in 2023. The Kashmir Files, starring Anupam Kher, was also on the list. Anupam has now spoken out about how his movie didn’t win an Oscar nomination as well as the overwhelming support RRR has received so far during the Hollywood awards season.

The actor told Bollywood media, “If now RRR has won Critics Choice award, and RRR has won the best song at Golden Globes, it is the greatest feeling for Indian cinema. Why should (we) not we celebrate? So, there must be obviously some problem with The Kashmir Files. I am the first person, who sort of tweeted that because I genuinely felt ‘wow the song Naatu Naatu, the whole crowd is dancing on that’. Because till now whatever films that they (western audiences) acknowledged were about poverty of Indians, about some foreigner, who has made a film, whether it is Richard Attenborough or Danny Boyle about Indians (but from a Western outlook). This is the first time a Hindustani film or Telugu film or whatever, an Indian film, has entered the mainstream of cinema.”

You should absolutely heed the police department’s warning against driving while intoxicated, which it shared on Twitter with a Naatu Naatu twist.

On January 12, Jaipur Police issued a clever post warning people against driving after drinking. The phrase “NoTo NoTo” was twisted from a photograph of Jr. NTR and Ram Charan’s Naatu Naatu by the police. Tiger Shroff shows off his dance moves to RRR song Naatu Naatu

Tiger Shroff sent a video to Instagram when the Telugu movie RRR won its first Golden Globe on Wednesday. He gave Naatu Naatu song, which won the award for best original music, his all-out dancing. After RRR’s historic victory on Thursday, he gave his supporters a glimpse of his celebratory dance.

Tiger wore a pair of black slacks and a sleeveless black T-shirt in the video. He completed his outfit with a black fedora and sneakers.

He did the hook moves while the Naatu Naatu song was playing in the background. He showed off his toned biceps while grooving with all of his vigor. He was singing along and smiling the entire time.
