In a recent interview, Jr. NTR, who is in the US for the Oscars 2023 with Ram Charan and team RRR, stated that he and Ram will not be dancing to Naatu Naatu on stage. In the interview, Jr. NTR also mentioned the song’s performers, MM Keeravani, Rahul Sipligunj, and Kaala Bhairava. He continued by saying that India would also be walking down the red carpet at the forthcoming awards.

Junior NTR remarked, “I don’t think that’s happening,” when speaking with KTLA (him and Ram dancing to Naatu Naatu at the event). I eagerly anticipated it happening. But regrettably, we were unable to practice. We don’t want to be on the biggest platform in the world without being ready. Hence, we were busy. I was busy, and Charan may have been busy as well due to his numerous prior engagements at home. Thus, I don’t believe we will be performing; instead, the song will be sung by our music director (MM) Keeravani, Rahul (Sipligunj), and my brother (Kaala) Bhairava. I believe it will be enjoyable for me to watch the song from the audience because the moment I watch that clip, my legs have started aching all over again.”

MM Keeravani penned the song Naatu Naatu for the SS Rajamouli-directed historical drama RRR. It has been put forth for the upcoming Oscars’ Best Original Song category. RRR is the first Indian movie to be nominated for an Oscar Award in more than 20 years. The first Indian song to receive an Oscar nomination is Naatu Naatu.

Ram Charan said that he would love to perform the Naatu Naatu hook dance at the Oscars

Ram Charan
  • Actor Ram Charan expressed his interest in performing the Naatu Naatu song at the Oscars.
  • But clarified that he can’t perform the entire song on stage.
  • Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava have been confirmed to perform.

Actor Ram Charan has indicated interest in singing the Naatu Naatu song at the Oscars, but there is a catch. Ram Charan is now in the US, engaged with promotional interviews for RRR ahead of the Academy Awards in 2023. He confirmed in an interview that he can’t perform the entire song on stage, despite the fact that he would be more than willing to amuse the audience. Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, two Naatu Naatu singers, will perform on Oscar night as of right now.

The RRR song Naatu Naatu, which was directed by SS Rajamouli, has been nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Song. It’s grown to be a global phenomenon. Many videos of western theatergoers dancing to the song have appeared on social media in recent months.

In an interview with Letterbox, Ram Charan said, “We would want to perform Naatu Naatu anyplace that we are appreciated, but not every area allows us to do so. Nevertheless, why not if we’re at the Oscars, there’s a request, and there’s time? We are glad to provide entertainment for our audience because they have been so supportive. It would be challenging to perform the entire number on stage because it requires a lot of breath and stamina. But without a doubt, the hook step. When not?

Also, he recently shared how he would feel if Naatu Naatu won the Oscar. Ram Charan discussed RRR’s popularity in an interview with ABC News Live and how the song Naatu Naatu came to be known all over the world. Ram Charan responded when asked what he would exactly feel if Naatu Naatu won an Oscar: “I don’t think I’ll believe it. They need to wake me up and tell me to go get it. an an an an an an an an an as of I’ll be the most content. It won’t be our success, in my opinion; it will be the success of the Indian film industry. No one of us can claim ownership.

RRR, a fictional tale set in the 1920s before India became independent, was released in theaters last March. It is based on the lives of two genuine heroes and well-known revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Tarak was portrayed as Bheem while Ram Charan played Ram.

Around 1000 crore were made throughout the movie’s worldwide theatrical run. Prior to the Oscars in 2023, the movie will receive a significant re-release in the US on March 3.
