The Jamiat-e-Ulema-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has on Thursday (today) said that we [PDM] want to fix the constitution of Pakistan.

Speaking to the JUI-F workers convention, Maulana Fazl said that our vote from the Senate Elections has been stolen and the incumbent government is not willing to accept this.

He added, “We want to fix the constitution of Pakistan. Our rulers have come on the international agenda, whereas,  governments are brought in to fulfill the foreign agenda.”

The leader further added that since your selection, it has been proved that you are an incompetent and an illegitimate ruler. “We are more loyal to Pakistan than you,” he added.

Earlier, Maulana Fazlur Rehman had said that if the principles of democracy are followed, the decision of the majority is in favour of resignation.

The PDM Chief had said that 9 out of 10 parties of the PDM have agreed on resignations, only the PPP has reservations in this regard.

Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Lahore Jalsa kicks off here on Sunday (today) at Minar-e-Pakistan, with a gathering of 10 to 15 thousand attendees.

According to police sources, around 8,500 people participated in the PDM Lahore Jalsa, while according to the special branch around 10,000 people attended the public gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan.

9,0000 to 10,000 participants are currently present in the jalsa, sources told.

However, addressing the public, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz targeted Prime Minister Imran Khan and said that when he doesn’t have any answer regarding his incompetence, he in return terms Nawaz Sharif ‘a corrupt or a traitor’.

She further criticized the incumbent government saying that we haven’t seen any better performance from the government, but there is a heap of scandals we can witness, adding that the public will hold Imran Khan accountable for every difficulty.

Tabedaar Khan used to say that he won’t take loans for the betterment of people, but Imran Khan has set new records for loans, added Maryam Nawaz.

Speaking about the public crisis, the Vice President backlashes PTI government for their fake promises regarding declined inflation. She said, “They used to say that the rulers are corrupt and the people pay the price through inflation, but today, even the government employees are protesting against PTI.”

Maryam felt pity for the premier’s selectors and said that Imran Khan’s selectors did not know that he would turn out to be so incompetent and his incompetence has to be answered by his selectors, added the PML-N leader.

Maulana Fazl says, ‘PDM Lahore rally will be the “last nail” for the govt.

Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has on Tuesday asked all Opposition parliamentarians to send their resignations to their party heads by December 31, as the PDM gears up to hold its rally in Lahore on Sunday.

“All Opposition lawmakers, from the national and provincial assemblies throughout the country, should send in their resignations to their respective party leaderships by December 31,” said Maulana Fazl.

The PDM president said that a standing committee of the Opposition’s alliance will be held which will decide the schedule of strikes, protests, and jalsas in various divisional headquarters of the country.

“It will also be decided when to hold the long march [against the government] and its date will also be decided,” he said.

Fazl said that the PDM’s upcoming Lahore jalsa will be a “historic” one, and will prove to be the “last nail” for the government.

He also condemned the PTI government for banning his party’s youth volunteers wing, Ansar-ul-Islam, ahead of the vital PDM rally in Lahore, terming the move frustration and confusion in government circles.

When asked whether the PDM was afraid of a crackdown by the government, Fazl said that the alliance hadn’t even thought about it.

“The government has been affected, the legs of its chair are shaking,” he said. “All that is needed now is one push.”

The JUI-F chief stated categorically that if the Opposition lawmakers decide to resign from the assemblies, they will not backtrack from the decision later.

“We will not end up licking our resignations,” he said when asked whether the PDM lawmakers will take a U-turn after resigning.

“Once we give them [resignations], we will not lick them as they did,” he said.

According to a plan issued for PDM Peshawar rally, the public coming from Islamabad and Mardan have been advised to take GT Road from Rashakai Interchange to reach Peshawar.

Commuters coming from Charsadda have been directed to take the Charsadda Road, while people coming from southern districts were advised to use the Frontier Road near Matani as well as the Inqilab Road in Scheme Chowk.

According to the details, the entry of heavy vehicles into the city will be banned throughout the day.

Meanwhile, the commuters will also be updated via social media and traffic police FM radio.

Earlier on Saturday, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazl ur Rehman said the PTI government is the representative of a stolen mandate, it’s not the representative of people.

Addressing a press conference in Peshawar, Maulana Fazl said the time has come for “Pakistan’s Trump” to be “removed” from office.

He added, “A historic rally will take place tomorrow in Peshawar,” he vowed, adding that the next rally will be held on November 26 in Larkana which his party, JUI-F, will host.
