Mahesh Babu and his wife Namrata Shirodkar were sighted at the Hyderabad airport on Thursday. He was traveling to Switzerland for a vacation and is scheduled to come back in two weeks. Social media has seen the appearance of images and video of Mahesh and Namrata from the airport. Mahesh just wrapped up the first schedule of filming for his movie alongside Trivikram. Mahesh and Namrata can be seen being escorted by his workers toward the security checkpoint in the airport video. Mahesh donned blue sweater, beige slacks, and a matching jacket. Court extends Imran Khan bail in ECP protest case till Feb 27

ISLAMABAD: District and Sessions court extended the bail of Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan in a case filed against him after demonstrations were held following his disqualification by the ECP in Toshakhana case.

District and Sessions judge Zafar Iqbal resumed the hearing where the PTI chairman’s counsel Babar Awan and PML-N leader and plaintiff Mohsin Shah Nawaz Ranjha were also present in the court.

Babar asked the court to exempt PTI chairman Imran Khan from personal appearance on medical basis.

The sessions court accepted the plea and exempted him from personal appearance.

The court directed to submit a written statement of Imran Khan and his bail was extended till February 27.

His family provided confirmation of his passing. They said that the 78-year-old poet passed away after a heart attack.

On August 4, 1944, in Lahore, Amjad was born. In 1967, he received his Masters in Urdu from the University of Punjab. He was hired as an Urdu professor at the MAO College in Lahore in 1968. Up until 1975, he was still a professor there. He was appointed deputy director of Punjab’s Arts Council in August of the same year.

He has played a crucial role in the literary community. Varis, Din, Fishar, are only a few of his works. His well-known television drama Khuwab Jaagtay Hain got a prize in 1975.

He also translated the Urdu poetry collection Kale Logon ki Roshan Nazmein by African writers.

In addition, Amjad Islam Amjad created dramas based on criticism. He has received numerous national and international honours. In 1987, he won the Pride of Performance, and in 1998, he was given the Sitara-e-Imtiaz. He then won the renowned Tamgh-e-Imtiaz in 1998.

Govt to undertake countrywide campaign to help Turkiye: PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the government had decided to expand the ongoing rescue and relief efforts for Türkiye into a countrywide campaign.

In his Twitter message, Shehbaz Sharif said, “We will enlist the support of the business community, religious scholars and educational institutions. Pakistan will continue to stand by Türkiye in this difficult hour.”

The prime minister said, “Just spoke to all chief ministers and requested them to take ownership of national relief campaign for earthquake-hit people in Turkiye.”

“This is the worst earthquake in a century. As one nation living in two states, we will continue to stand by our Turkish brothers and sisters,” he added.

On the other hand, Federal Directorate of Education, under the Federal Ministry of Education and Professional Training, has instructed educational institutions to raise funds to help earthquake victims in Turkiye and Syria.

The amount will go to the ‘Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for Earthquake Victims’, to generate funds for Turkiye and Syria, which were rocked by a 7.8 magnitude earthquake.

Earthquake in Turkey & Syria: 16-year-old girl rescued after 80 hours

ANTAKYA: The crucial 72-hour window for locating earthquake survivors in Turkey had long since passed.

But after more than 80 hours, 16-year-old Melda Adtas was discovered still alive, bringing tears to the eyes of her happy father and spurring the grieving nation on to a painfully rare bit of good news following Monday’s 7.8-magnitude tremor.

Over 21,000 people have died in Turkey and Syria, yet the father only felt relieved.

He said, “My dear, my dear!” as the rescuers dragged the teen from the debris and the onlookers cheered.

After neighbours called for help, it took rescuers five agonising hours to save her life.

They had heard noises coming from the broken walls.

Rescuers’ spirits improved when they discovered three survivors in the same structure, just one floor above Melda. They set off to hunt for the missing girl together with her distraught father.

Suleyman, one of a group of Black Sea miners who travelled south to aid, was in charge of her rescue operation.

As curious bystanders watched, the rescuers silently dismantled each barrier in order to stay in contact with Melda.

They suddenly arrived to the young girl, who was cold and battered but still alive, and gently transferred her to an ambulance that was already waiting.

Melda was wrapped with a blanket to protect her from the cold and curious glances as several rescuers, wearing helmets, covered in dust, and with worn-out faces held the stretcher.

When the earthquake wreaked havoc, many people who were caught up in the tragedy while they were asleep had almost nothing on.

Many people gave the rescuers hugs, kisses, and congratulations as Melda was placed in the ambulance safely. Many struggled to contain their tears.

One said, “We didn’t work for nothing; we rescued a female out of the wreckage.

Another, fatigued and perplexed by the torturous struggle against time, questioned, “What day is it? ”

Her father yelled, “God bless you all!”

A recent airplane passenger who had a cordial interaction with Anil Kapoor has spoken extensively about the incident. Entrepreneur Shikha Mittal uploaded a selfie with Anil on LinkedIn and wrote extensively about how he held her hand during turbulence on their journey.

Shikha, the founder of Be.artsy and a few other organizations, noted that meeting Anil was memorable despite the fact that she typically avoids taking pictures with celebrities. She described how they got to talking when the luggage box above her opened and began flapping as soon as the plane took off. Right after takeoff, the flight became erratic. I’ve never been good on airplanes. I experienced additional anxieties in 2022 as a result of a medical ailment I am dealing with as a result of vaccination/covid (cause unknown). My fellow passenger held my hand and murmured, “Hey, it’s okay,” while I continued to place my palm on the space between the two seats. What is your name? “Let’s speak.”

Shikha claimed that they conversed and joked during the two-hour flight and that she was unaware of its conclusion. “A lot of people will tell you that anxiety is terrible, but today because of your nervousness we both got an opportunity to converse and laugh, and now maybe you also treat me to a coffee in Delhi,’ Anil Ji said after it landed. He gave me a hug and shouted, “Shikha The Mittal BYE!” as we were leaving.

She also listed all the other subjects they discussed, saying, “1. We discussed anxiousness. 2. He inquired about my line of work, and as a result, we talked about will-writing, retirement plans, and financial planning. 3. We talked about the movies he wants to see each year. 4. We discussed Sri Devi and Madhuri. 5. We discussed Lamhe, a not-so-successful film that so many people adore. 6. We talked about regular individuals and amazing people. 7. We contrasted coincidence and luck. 8. We talked about Mumbai’s home pricing. 9. We discussed exercise. 10. We talked about how much we both adore coffee.

One of the most well-known Bollywood actors of the 1990s, Anil Kapoor is still producing quality work in both movies and television. The Night Manager, his upcoming web series, will be released.

Shoaib Akhtar, a former Pakistani Test cricketer, has joined the list of cricketers who have signed a contract with Urduflix, Pakistan’s first Urdu OTT platform. The 47-year-old shared the good news with his followers on social media on Wednesday. Shoaib, known for his quick bowling and the nickname “Rawalpindi Express,” was overjoyed to declare that he was prepared to make his OTT debut.

He captioned the Instagram post, “I am ready for my OTT debut. Are you??”

When it came to the production of his biopic “Rawalpindi Express,” Akhtar previously decided against it owing to irreconcilable issues.

The former cricketer had a career that included 444 international wickets and 224 international games played. At the 2003 World Cup match versus England, Akhtar bowled the ball with the fastest speed, 100.2 KMH.
