A lone protester disrupted Prince William and Kate Middleton’s visit to Falmouth on Thursday.
According to a news outlet, a demonstrator clutching a blank piece of paper was detained by police.
According to the publication, the unidentified individual first stood among royal supporters lining the street outside the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, which the couple was touring.
When he lifted his white sign, the cops intervened and escorted him away from the gathering.
Asked why he protested, the man reportedly told Matt Wilkinson, “It’s the 21st century we don’t need a monarchy any more, it’s f***ng ridiculous”..
While millions of Britons revere the royal couple, anti-monarchists criticize them on social media and even stage rallies against the royal family.
