Former international cricketer Shoaib Akhtar eventually met his “doppelgänger,” who had been drawing parallels between herself and the legendary Rawalpindi Express on social media, albeit as a joke. Shoaib took to social media to post a video of himself with his lookalike, saying that he’s “finally caught the culprit, and she is in trouble!”

“I am in America, and I finally caught the culprit,” the cricketer said with great flair and drama. He then brought his purported lookalike into the screen, and a bashful Vinita Khilnani appeared into the picture with an untidy brown wig on her head. Shoaib then requested her to say her name, and she did so.

“We finally met,” the impersonator laughed. “Here I am!” Shoaib then referred to her as the “female version” of himself. He continued to laud the content creator, saying that she had been creating wonderful stuff while laughing. The cricketing icon then wished her luck, for which she thanked him.

Vinita is to blame for this amusing crossover. She initially turned to Instagram to question her admirers whether she truly resembled Shoaib in the most funny way. She posted meme-worthy photographs with her face masked over his in old bowling shots, writing, “So everyone is saying I look like this man?” She asked Shoaib, “What do you think?”

Following the widespread acceptance, Vinita released another video that had her fans in stitches. She imitated Shoaib’s run to the pitch while bowling, as well as his characteristic arms-wide-open-run after bowling someone on the field.
