The Nano-Box is a little crossover SUV with a modern style and a rounded profile.
It includes a 27.2 kWh ternary lithium battery that enables a cruising range of up to 331 kilometers.

A new electric SUV from Chinese automaker Dongfeng is more affordable than the standard Suzuki Cultus. It is an A-segment crossover SUV with an all-electric drivetrain known as “Nano Box.”

The infant SUV is not Dongfeng’s first all-electric model. Aeolus EX1, Dongfeng Fengxing T1, Dongfeng Fengguang E1, and Venucia e30 are additional EVs. In the next five years, the company plans to introduce 3 to 5 new EV models in an effort to increase its EV output.

The Nano-Box is a little crossover SUV with a modern style and a rounded profile. It includes a 27.2 kWh ternary lithium battery that enables a cruise range of up to 331 kilometers. It has a single electric motor that produces 125 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque and 44 horsepower (hp), and it exclusively drives the front wheels.

Kia announces major price spike for all vehicles

Lucky Motor Corporation Limited (LMCL) has increased the pricing of all Kia automobiles in Pakistan.
This is LMCL’s fourth price hike this year.
According to Kia, the depreciation of the local currency and a rise in shipping expenses caused major spike.

In the previous two years, Lucky Motor Corporation Limited (LMCL) was renowned for maintaining vehicle costs. Unfortunately, the automaker has been compelled to hike car pricing alongside other businesses due to the depreciation of local currency and rise in shipping expenses.

As per a recent statement, the business has increased the pricing of all Kia automobiles in Pakistan namely Sportage, Stonic, and Picanto. The following are the new prices, which take effect right away:

Oddly, compared to the rest of the lineup, the price increases for the Kia Stonic are minimal. The top-selling Kia vehicles now cost more thanks to a fourth price hike this year from LMCL.

This price increase is probably due to the Pakistani Rupee’s rate against the US Dollar, which was Rs. 222 on July 19. With additional companies issuing such somber announcements and blaming the devaluation of the Pakistani Rupee for their price increases, Kia may have started a new wave of price increases in the automotive sector.

The benchmark KSE-100 closed with a gain of around 71 points on Wednesday, although trading on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) was range-bound.

The stock market started off in the black, but it quickly gave in to selling pressure. The bulls, however, maintained a firm hold throughout the day, helping to close the market on a high note.

The benchmark KSE-100 index increased by 70.63 points or 0.17 percent to settle at 40,459.70 points.

According to Arif Habib, the ongoing depreciation of the Pakistani rupee versus the US dollar and political upheaval are to blame for the benchmark KSE-100 index’s sideways performance.

Despite value purchasing during the final hour of trading in the exploration and production sector, volumes were low.

Exploration and production (+73.3 points), banks (+29.0 points), OMCs (+15.8 points), electricity (+13.6 points), and technology are among the sectors that have helped the performance (11.8 points).

During the session, shares of 325 firms were exchanged. 136 stocks ended the day’s trading in the black, 169 in the red, and 20 were unchanged.

Compared to Tuesday’s total of 194.86 million shares, the overall trading volume increased to 141.74 million shares. Shares were traded for a total of Rs4.49 billion during the day.

With 13.37 million shares traded and a loss of Rs0.35 to close at Rs17.56, TPL Properties Limited had the highest volume. Worldcall Telecom Limited, with 10.75 million shares traded, gained 0.02 rupees to close at Rs. 1.27, and Cnergyico PK Limited, with 7.95 million shares traded, lost 0.02 rupees to settle at Rs. 5, came in second and third, respectively.

Pakistan, Afghanistan to boost trade relations

From July 18 to 20, a Pakistani delegation headed by Secretary of Commerce Muhammad Sualeh Ahmed Faruqui visited Kabul to discuss joint initiatives for boosting cross-border transit and connectivity.

During the two-day tour, the delegation also reviewed the essential trade facilitation measures to solve the real-world challenges faced by importers, exporters, merchants, and businesses from both sides.

The Pakistan team includes representatives from all pertinent ministries and departments with regard to economic contact, commerce, transit, commercial exchanges, and improving facilitation at all border crossing locations in order to achieve significant progress on these issues.

Meetings were held with ministers and top officials from various Afghan Ministries, including Nooruddin Azizi, the acting minister of commerce, and Amir Khan Muttaqi, the acting minister of foreign affairs.

The following beneficial outcomes were agreed upon by the two parties during the substantive discussions:

Bilateral trade and transit have increased over the past fiscal year. On a mutually advantageous basis, this momentum needs to be maintained and further reinforced.
It was decided to make border crossing points more effective in order to ensure prompt passage of trade and transit traffic and to prioritize resolving bottlenecks and obstacles.
To further boost trade between the two nations, the two sides decided to create a Temporary Admission Document (TAD) that would provide unfettered circulation of vehicles engaged in bilateral trade and prohibit loading and unloading of cargo at border crossing locations.
All crossing points, including Torkham, Karachi, Ghulam Khan, and Chaman/Spin Boldak, would have longer operational hours as a result of an agreement between the two sides’ competent authorities.
In order to increase the effectiveness of the clearance of products, the heads of the customs departments of the two nations decided to collaborate and develop mutually connected custom procedures and systems.
Actions should be made to begin a luxury bus service between Quetta and Kandahar and Peshawar and Jalalabad, with a goal of launching the service by the end of August this year.
Through mutual collaboration, difficulties in visa processing would be resolved.

Gold price falls by Rs 1200 per tola despite Rupee’s depreciation

Despite the rupee’s collapse, which on Wednesday reached an all-time low of Rs224.92 versus the US dollar, the price of gold in Pakistan fell by Rs 1,200 per tola.

The price of gold in the local bullion market reduced by Rs 1,200 per tola to Rs 144,000 and by Rs 1,028 for 10 kilos to Rs 123,457, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA).

The valuable commodity had a previous day’s closing price of Rs145,200 per tola and Rs124,485 per 10 kilos.

Analysts were taken aback by a decrease in the price of gold because historical evidence suggests that during periods of inflation, people tended to hold aggressive positions in gold.

A gold dealer told Geo.tv that purchasing gold is a secure bet against currency depreciation or devaluation.

Some investors are more inclined towards the conventional shining asset, but people may invest directly in the dollar to obtain a same advantage, he said.

But according to him, Pakistan is still only a minor portion of the world gold market. As it does not manufacture the commodity locally, it imports it to satisfy demand.

As a result, the price of gold in local markets is established by taking into account its costs on international markets, the rupee-dollar exchange rate, as well as the supply and demand for it in those markets.

Bullion prices fell $9 per ounce to close at $1,708 on the global market.

In Pakistan, gold is priced at about Rs 2,000 less than it would be in the Dubai market.

In the meantime, today’s domestic market silver prices stayed the same at Rs. 1,580 per tola and Rs. 1,354.60 per 10 grams.

Priyanka Chopra turned 40’s this Monday. The recent birthday of the actor was celebrated with loved ones and friends. An Instagram user posted a video of Priyanka listening to music with her mother Madhu Chopra, her singer husband Nick Jonas, and his parents Kevin and Denise Jonas.

The video also included appearances from Priyanka’s friends Natasha Poonawalla, Tamanna Dutt, and Cavanaugh James. A Mariachi band played for them while they all sat outside on couches and rockers near a pool at night.

Priyanka captured a video of Nick and Madhu dancing in the video. She sat down on an adjacent chair. Nick held out his hands for the actor to join them as she grinned and turned to face them. The other attendees grinned and took pleasure in the live band.

Nick chose an all-white attire for the evening, while Priyanka donned an orange outfit. Madhu was wearing all-black clothing. Silver and pink balloons were used to decorate the space, and a neon “Happy Birthday” sign was mounted on a door. In the video, there was a cane table with food on it and flower vases next to it.
