PM Imran Determined To Eradicate Corrupt Mafias: Shibli Faraz

Shibli Faraz

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz has on Monday (today) said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is determined to take on the mafias.

Taking to his Twitter, Faraz wrote, “Crusade against the mafias who exploit poor people of Pakistan. PMIK determined to take them on.”

Earlier, Shibli Faraz said that the PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz had harmed the party with her childish politics.

Shibli Faraz had claimed that these Opposition leaders are only trying to save their corrupt forefathers, however, they know very well about their parents’ tactics in blaming the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

He further added that the Opposition never focused on providing relief to the masses, but they are well aware of mishandling the country’s situation for their own benefits.

The minister further urged the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) leaders to help the masses in this difficult time as the third COVID strain is more dangerous than the previous ones.

Also, he urged people to get vaccinated as soon as possible. “We are taking every step to control inflation and trying to expand the targeted subsidy policy to facilitate general masses,” Faraz added.

“Under our universal health care program, we are going to provide health cards across Punjab on the pattern of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Faraz had urged the JUI leader Maulana Fazalur Rehman not to misguide the people about the Coronavirus situation and the vaccination.

Lambasting at the Opposition, Shibli added that “the government is not worried about their plans but they should do something positive that can serve masses in the pandemic”.

PM Imran made the institutions autonomous, independent, says Shibli Faraz

Shibli Faraz

Minister for Information Senator Shibli Faraz has on Wednesday said that the decisions taken by masses have to be accepted by all political parties.

In his tweet, he said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has made the institutions independent and autonomous.

Shibli Faraz said the agenda of the opposition’s alliance is to get the cases against them abolished. He regretted that the opposition parties want a judiciary which gives judgments in their favor.

These parties only consider those elections free and fair in which they secure victories. He said this is not a democratic but dictatorial conduct, the minister added.

Earlier on Tuesday, Shibli Faraz has slammed the opposition parties for not accepting their defeat in elections and asked them to end this bad tradition.

Taking to Twitter, the minister said that this act is contrary to democratic norms, adding that those delivering lectures on democracy should adopt democratic conduct.

Bilawal clearly proves he doesn’t trust Nawaz Sharif, says Shibli Faraz

Shibli Faraz targets Bilawal Bhutto

Federal Minister for Information Shibli Faraz said that Bilawal’s statement clearly proves that he does not trust Nawaz Sharif.

In a tweet on Friday, Shibli Faraz wrote, “These contradictions prove that PDM is nothing but a group of power-hungry politicians, working together to serve their personal interests.”

In another tweet the information minister said people of Gilgit-Baltistan have rejected the hollow narrative of the opposition.

The successful public meetings of PTI in Gilgit-Baltistan and public support show their confidence in the leadership of Imran Khan and suggest the party’s electoral victory, Faraz added.

The Minister said to include Gilgit-Baltistan in the national mainstream for development is Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision and promise.

Gilgit-Baltistan Elections

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto termed PM Imran Khan’s promise to make Gilgit-Baltistan a province ahead of the November 15 elections as rigging.

He said the premier and his party cannot be trusted due to their ‘U-turns’.

“Imran Khan breaks all his promise. He promised to make South Punjab a separate province within 100 days of his government,” the PPP leader recalled. “But he didn’t.”

Moreover, Bilawal said his party will table a constitutional amendment in the Parliament on GB’s provincial status.

The PPP chairman, in an interview, said that Imran Khan-led PTI government has lost the trust in people.

The decline in Pakistan’s economy and rising inflation is all because of an incompetent PTI government, said Bilawal.

“We avoid such comments during public gatherings. No one person can be held responsible for bringing Imran Khan to power.”

We have only two options, take an extremist stance or stop and think about how to move forward, he said.
