Medical Board forms for exhumation of Mustafa Amir

KARACHI: Following the court’s orders, Sindh Health Department formed three-member medical board for the exhumation and post mortem examination Mustafa Aamir to determine the cause of his death.

According to the notification, a three -member medical board has been formed for exhumation of Muhammad Mustafa Aamir. The exhumation of victim’s will be held on February 21 at 9 am.

The notification states that the Police Surgeon Dr Summaiya Syed(Chairperson) is the head of the Medical Board while Additional Police Surgeon Dr  Sirichand(Convener) and MLO Jinnah Postgraduate Officer Centre Karachi Dr Kamran Khan(Member) will also be part of the medical board.

It should be noted that Mustafa Amir’s mother had requested for a grave, a local court had approved the request for the deceased’s grave in the abduction and murder of Mustafa Amir.

The court in its order has said that the secretary should set up a medical board for the grave, completing the grave and the report should be submitted within 7 days.

KARACHI: A five-member medical board conduct an autopsy of house maid Fatima who died due to alleged torture in the Ranipur area of ​​Sindh.

The exhumation was performed under the supervision of Kandiaro’s judicial magistrate. A five-member medical team was also present at the scene.

The grave site was covered with tents. A medical board conducted the autopsy to determine the cause of death.

According to the sources, marks of torture were noted on the girl’s body, and marks of torture were found on the girl’s neck, stomach, and arms.

The girl’s parents say that Hina Shah, the wife of the main accused Pir Asad Shah, is pressurizing her through various people to withdraw from the case.

The police detained the dispenser of Ranipur Hospital and shifted it to an unknown location. The arrested main accused Asad Shah had told during the investigation that the dispenser Imtiaz had been treating Fatima at home.

Asad Shah, the main accused named in the case, is in police custody on a four-day physical remand. The accused’s wife Hina Shah has taken protective bail.

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court(LHC) has ordered senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI) leader Azam Swati to be produced in court and to form a medical board.

A hearing was held in the Bahawalpur Bench of the Lahore High Court on the request for the recovery of senior Tehreek-e-Insaf Senate leader Azam Swati.

Bahawalpur Bench ordered to the production of Senator Azam Swati and Mohammad Khan Madani in court. The case was heard by Justice Anwar Haq Pannu.

Bahawalpur Bench of Lahore High Court also ordered to form of a medical board for PTI leader Azam Swati and also ordered the Superintendent Jail to present both the leaders before the medical board.
Petitioner Adeel Aslam’s lawyer Saqib Tariq argued that Azam Swati went missing after his arrest. It is possible that he was subjected to torture.

The petitioner’s counsel pleaded that the Court should order Swati’s recovery and conduct a medical board.

Earlier, Lahore High Court sought a report from the Punjab government on the petition for the recovery of Eijaz Chaudhry and other PTI leaders.

The petitioner’s lawyer said that a report should be sought from the government, as there is a danger that they will not be included in the unknown persons, on which the court remarked that you went to arrest them yourself.
