K-pop group Seventeen’s rocking performance in Seoul goes viral

The Be The Sun globe tour by the K-pop group SEVENTEEN began with a two-night performance in Seoul, South Korea. After two years and four months, SEVENTEEN performed live for the first time at this event. Over 35000 fans were in attendance, and the band was able to entertain them with electrifying performances while also interacting with fans across the world via livestream. The band declared that SECTOR 17, their repackaged album, would be released on July 18, 2022 at the conclusion of Day 2.

The 13-member ensemble performed 24 songs, beginning with “HOT,” “March,” and “HIT.” With performances by the three units—Hip Hop, Vocal, and Performance—the members even captivated the audience. “MOONWALKER,” “Imperfect love,” and “Back it up” were among the unit’s songs. Songs like “Left & Right,” “Crush,” and “Darl+ing” highlight the band’s range. The K-pop powerhouse performed “Snap Shoot” and “Very Nice” as part of their legendary hour-long encore as the show’s climax. Along with fans, other performers during the performance included Astro’s Cha Eun-woo and BTS member Jungkook.

In addition, SEVENTEEN gave greetings to their followers. Producer and vocal unit leader for the group, WOOZI said, “We woke up with every part of our body aching after the first day. So today, we danced even harder. You are the source of all our energy.”

HOSHI said, “We run at full throttle for this set. We wanted to show everyone what a ‘performance’ is.”
