The Pakistan team has arrived in South Korea to compete in the Asian Games including the 7th Asian Poomsae, 25th Asian Kyorugi, and Chuncheon Korea Open International Taekwondo Championship.

The Pakistan team’s training session will commence today under the tutelage of Korea’s Kukkiwon coach Master Seongoh Choi.
“Players have worked hard and undergone rigorous training for the Asian events and are also mentally and physically fit. I am confident that they will give their hundred percent to make it to the victory podium”, the coach said.
Haroon Khan, winner of the gold medal at the South Asian Games, stated that it is an honor to represent the nation in international competitions. Flower Zaheer and Fatima Tuz Zehra, two female athletes, stated that participation in these tournaments will assist players to gain experience.
The Asian Poomsae competition will begin on June 23 in Chuncheon City, while the 25th Asian Taekwondo Kyorugi Championship will be contested from June 24-27.
