Tuesday night in Mumbai, Varun Dhawan and his wife Natasha Dalal organised a party for their friends in the film industry. Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Anil Kapoor, Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, and other celebrities were there for the celebrations. Numerous celebrities, including Janhvi, Malaika, Karan, and Anil, were spotted wearing black party attire. Sara, on the other hand, dressed traditionally Indian for the anniversary celebration of Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal.

Malaika and her boyfriend, actor Arjun Kapoor, arrived at the party together. The couple matched their black clothing. For the party, Janhvi sported a black dress and shoes, and she posed for photographers outside Varun Dhawan’s Mumbai residence. Manish Malhotra, a fashion designer, also accompanied her. Karan Johar, a director, donned a graphic T-shirt with a black blazer and matching pants. In a pink and blue kurta paired with a pair of sharara, Sara Ali Khan stood out.

Laxman Utekar confirms that Vicky Kaushal play as Sambhaji Maharaj

Director Laxman Utekar has stated that Vicky Kaushal will portray Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in his upcoming movie. The director of the Mimi fame, who worked with Kaushal on a forthcoming romantic comedy, believed the actor was the ideal option for the historical part. The founder of the Maratha kingdom, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, had a son named Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.

“Vicky Kaushal’s personality, like his height and physique matches that of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. He is also a fabulous performer. We didn’t do any look test, I was sure that he is the one who can play Sambhaji,” Utekar told PTI. “He will train for four months in sword fighting, horse riding and a few other things. And once we are satisfied, we will start shooting,” he said.

The cinematographer-director said he was keen to explore the story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj on the big screen. “We have seen many films on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj but nobody knows how big a warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj was, or his contribution towards the Maratha empire and to Maharashtra,” Utekar added.

The director said the film is in pre-production stage and shoot will commence in August-September. The untitled film is backed by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, with whom Utekar has collaborated on two successful films — Luka Chuppi and Mimi in the past. Utekar revealed that currently post-production work is underway on his romantic-comedy film featuring Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan. “The film is ready, it will release theatrically in April,” he said.

On Monday, Sara Ali Khan’s first appearance in the Prime Video original film Ae Watan Mere Watan was presented. For her job, she dons a novel, unheard-of appearance. Sara plays a courageous freedom fighter in the Kannan Iyer-directed movie. It is reportedly a thriller drama based on real-life incidents.

Sara is dressed in a pre-Independence-era appearance in the Ae Watan Mere Watan teaser. She is shown in a sari drawing back every curtain in the space before sitting down to assemble what appears to be a radio. “The British feel they have curbed the Quit India movement. Lekin azad awazein qaid nahi hoti. Ye ha Hindustan ki awaz, Hindustan me kahin se, kahin pe Hindustan mein (Free voices cannot be held captive. This is Hindustan’s voice, from somewhere in the country).” She soon has a loud banging on the door cut off and a surprised expression covers her face.

Sara said in a press statement, “I am so excited and honoured that Prime Video and Dharmatic Entertainment have given me the opportunity to be a part of a film that I truly believe deserves to be told. As an actor, and more importantly as an Indian I am proud to be able to portray a character that echoes bravery, strength and courage.”

“Working with Kannan Iyer sir is a sheer privilege as he is so passionate and emotionally invested in this story himself. And while of course it is very challenging to essay a character that is vastly different from anything that I’ve done before, it is a project I’m going to work really hard on. And most importantly, I’m going to cherish every day that I get to play an enigmatic freedom fighter.”

Sharing the post, the user wrote, “Reason behind gill’s back to back hundreds.” Reacting to the picture, one person asked, “Ye waqie mai Sonam Bajwa hai (Is she Sonam Bajwa)?” Another person wrote, “Bajwa Supermacy.” Other fan commented, “Aag laga di bhai ne (The brother just killed it).”

Sonam re-shared the picture on her Twitter handle, and wrote, “Ye Sara ka Sara jhoot hai (This is completely false).” She implied Sara Ali Khan had something to do with it. One person commented, “Epic reply xD” Another person wrote, “Ha ha ha lol.” Other person commented, “Itna SARA SARA use kardiya, obvious ho raha hai (laughing emoji).” “I-S(h)ara Samajlo (get the point).” Many people dropped laughing emojis on the tweet.

Shubman appeared on a talk show with Sonam, where she grilled him about his equation with Sara Ali Khan, in 2022. She asked him to name the fittest female actor of Bollywood. Shubman responded immediately and said, “Sara!” Then, the host asked him, “Are you dating Sara?” To this, Shubman responded, “Maybe.” Sonam laughed and asked in Punjabi, “Sara da sara sach bolo please (Please tell us the whole truth).” Shubman responded, “Sara da sara sach bol reyaan (I am telling the whole truth). Maybe, maybe not.”

In October 2022, Sara and Shubman were photographed leaving the same hotel and then boarding the same flight, reigniting the dating rumors.

Sara Ali Khan joins Dharma Cornerstone Agency

Sara will be quitting her five-year relationship with The Collective, according to insiders familiar with the situation. Sara enjoyed her time with The Collective, but the two have mutually agreed to part ways in order to improve their chances for the future. With the DCA – Dharma Cornerstone Agency, which is run by Karan Johar and Bunty Sajdeh, Sara has now signed an exclusive contract. Tiger Shroff also left The Collective earlier in November and joined Dharma Cornerstone Agency in search of bigger opportunities. Sara Ali Khan’s upcoming films
