Pakistan vs Afghanistan ODI series shifts to Pakistan

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) have decided to shift the three-matches ODI series in Pakistan.

ACB’s spokesperson Hikmatullah confirmed that Pakistan vs Afghanistan ODI series will be hosted by Pakistan as the Taliban have closed the flights from Kabul due to which the players were unable to fly to Srilanka, so they changed their venue from Srilanka to Pakistan and travel to the country road.

Sri Lanka imposed a 10-days lockdown due to prevailing COVID-19.

Initially, the series was scheduled in Hambantota, Sri Lanka from 3rd September to 8th September. The official announcement related to the tour will be made in a due course. PCB is yet to decide the venue for the series.
