Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’s actors and crew did, however, announce the movie’s new release date on Instagram on Thursday: July 28, 2023. Originally scheduled for release in February 2023

Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’s new release date was announced in Instagram posts by both Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani…releasing July 28, 2023, stated Alia in her caption. I’ll see you at the film. The announcement was posted by Ranveer with the comment, “Kyunki (because) it’s all about loving your family!” They distributed a poster for the movie with the words “save the date” on it. Numerous celebrities, such as the on-screen Janhvi Kapoor and the director Zoya Akhtar, posted comments on their postings, while many fans said things like “can’t wait” and “excited.”

After directing Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in 2016 with Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar is back with Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani also has veteran performers Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi in significant parts in addition to Ranveer and Alia. For the first time, Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi are under Karan’s direction. According to rumors, Shabana would portray Alia’s grandmother while Jaya will appear as Ranveer’s grandmother.

Actors Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt described Pathaan as “perhaps the biggest blockbuster in Indian cinema” in response to the movie’s box office performance. When asked about Pathaan shattering Brahmastra’s box office record during the press conference for the Zee Cine Awards 2023 on Tuesday evening, Alia said. Before Pathaan’s release, there was a boycott movement, to which Varun Dhawan responded.

As artists, Pathaan, Gangubai Kathiawadi, and Brahmastra, according to Alia, don’t have as much “violence” as others have claimed their success to be an answer to the hostility. In response to a question about how she and the other cast members deal with criticism and haters, Alia said, “I don’t think we have so much aggression in us like that. We are very grateful to be working and living our dream on a daily basis. And we believe that we belong to the audience and the audience can say whatever they want about us. As long as we are entertaining them, we will do our very best.”

When discussing Pathaan, she added, “As an industry, we are overjoyed that a movie like Pathaan is not just a hit but may well be the biggest hit in Indian cinema. Everyone should surely give that one clap, in my opinion. We are thankful for occasions like this and hope that they will continue to occur.”

The director of Alia’s most recent film, Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, Ayan Mukerji, commented, “Every film should shatter every film’s record. I am extremely satisfied with it.” Pathaan then went on to break the record set by Brahmastra. Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy also appear in the movie. The movie received enthusiastic reviews from the audience and brought in over 425 crores at the box office globally.

The success of Pathaan is proof that audiences are simply interested in pure entertainment, according to Varun, who advised against paying attention to boycott trends. He stated: “I’m not interested in discussing it. Why should we place such a high value on it? Be content if people are enjoying Pathaan. We shouldn’t talk about it too much. Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana are among the cast members of the Yash Raj Films production Pathaan. Before its January 25 release, the spy thriller faced demands for a boycott due to the song Besharam Rang. However, it was a huge box office hit, earning $591 million worldwide in just six days.

Pathaan, directed by Siddharth Anand, is Shah Rukh’s first major motion picture release in over four years as the main character. The film follows Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), and War, both starring Salman Khan, as the fourth entry in producer Aditya Chopra’s spy world (2019).

In 2012, Sidharth Malhotra and Alia made their acting debuts together in Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year. In the films Kalank, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014), they have also appeared alongside one another (2019).

Varun appeared in Jugjugg Jeeyo, a family drama from the previous year, alongside Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor. He also starred alongside Kriti Sanon in the horror comedy Bhediya. In contrast, Alia has a successful year in 2022 thanks to the successes Gangubai Kathiawadi, RRR, Darlings, and Brahmstra: Part One – Shiva. With the Netflix movie Darlings, she also made the transition to producing.

The actor told Bollywood media, “If now RRR has won Critics Choice award, and RRR has won the best song at Golden Globes, it is the greatest feeling for Indian cinema. Why should (we) not we celebrate? So, there must be obviously some problem with The Kashmir Files. I am the first person, who sort of tweeted that because I genuinely felt ‘wow the song Naatu Naatu, the whole crowd is dancing on that’. Because till now whatever films that they (western audiences) acknowledged were about poverty of Indians, about some foreigner, who has made a film, whether it is Richard Attenborough or Danny Boyle about Indians (but from a Western outlook). This is the first time a Hindustani film or Telugu film or whatever, an Indian film, has entered the mainstream of cinema.”

Raha Kapoor, the daughter of new mom Alia Bhatt and actor-husband Ranbir Kapoor, was born in November of the previous year. Alia discussed “ladies grappling with their changed appearance following birth” in a recent interview. After giving birth, the star talked openly about relating to new mothers “who desire to reduce weight.” In addition, Alia discussed her weight reduction since giving birth to Raha and said that the reason for her weight loss was due to the movies.

 

The star claimed that new mothers put “a lot of pressure on themselves” to resume their previous appearances. After Raha was born on November 6, 2022, Alia Bhatt said that she ‘had to lose weight’ because movies ‘are a visual medium’ and she ‘had to look beautiful’. In a recent interview, Alia acknowledged her love of food and talked about the pressure women experience because of social media in today’s world “even before pregnancy.”

 

 

I’d really like to discuss this. Many women struggle with their postpartum appearance. They frequently put a lot of pressure on themselves to resume their previous appearances. I understand that everyone wants to lose weight. Because movies are a visual medium and you need to look well, I love food and I love to eat, but I had to lose weight. You must have a good appearance. Girls worry about their appearance all the time these days, even before getting pregnant, because every picture is posted on social media. Women ought to stop and think about how beautiful their bodies are.

 

 

Alia continued by talking about how new mothers should maintain their bodies “safe” and said that she exercises now for health reasons rather than to lose weight or slim down. It’s not just about getting back in shape, she continued; you also need to strengthen your immune.

 

 

After that, everything will fall into place. I no longer exercise to lose weight or to make my waist appear smaller. I exercise for my health. The goal is to maintain a healthy weight rather than starve oneself by eating unhealthily. I decided not to be too hard on myself, even if I occasionally have a little additional bloating or weight gain. I’m going to have a party for it. I’m not going to torment myself.

 

The actress also provided wellness advice for new mothers in the same interview, advising them to make an effort to stay healthy by eating vegetables, including protein in their diets, practising yoga, and going for walks and runs. Alia and Ranbir Kapoor were recently photographed outside their Mumbai building with their stroller-riding baby Raha. Shaheen Bhatt, Alia’s sister, had also joined them.

 

In April of last year, Alia and Ranbir got married in their Vastu home. On November 6, 2022, Alia had announced the arrival of their daughter. The actor shared his pregnancy news on Instagram with the caption, “And in the happiest news of our lives: Our baby is here.. and what a wonderful lady she is. Our hearts are overflowing with love; we are blessed and driven parents.”

However, Argentina 1985, a historical drama movie produced and directed by Santiago Mitre, won the Golden Globe instead of RRR in this category.
