  • In the years since Harry and Meghan stepped away from their royal duties in 2020.

According to a royal expert, Meghan Markle believes the British public is now open to and eager to welcome her eventual return to the UK. Royal analyst Neil Sean offered his thoughts on Meghan Markle’s most recent public appearances with her husband Prince Harry and other members of the Royal Family in a video posted to his YouTube channel. The expert speculated that after observing Meghan’s interactions with the public, the Duchess of Sussex now feels “validated” and as though she would be “embraced” if she were to move back to the UK from California, where she currently resides.

Mr Sean noted: “Meghan was ready and willing to meet the public. She was terrified about how the public might perceive her particularly over here in the UK but all those fears were pushed away very quickly.

“Meghan now feels validated because the British people do like her. You can understand how this could be the case because there she is in a very delicate situation and there’s the crowd happy to see her.

Line to pay respects to Queen Elizabeth II temporarily closed

Queen Elizabeth
  • The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport tweeted regarding Southwark Park.
  • The wait time for Her Majesty’s casket has now reached 14 hours.
  • The ambiance in Westminster Hall was “sorrowful but thankful,” according to Heffernan.

British government representatives momentarily closed the back of the line for those waiting to see Queen Elizabeth II lie in state at Westminster Hall, preventing fresh mourners from joining the already-existing line.

According to the news, the line for guests was approximately 5 miles long and the wait time had reached 14 hours.

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport of the United Kingdom government has been providing consistent updates on the wait on Twitter. The account stated that after Southwark Park “reached capacity,” admission to the line will be suspended “for at least 6 hours,” as of Friday morning, just before 10 a.m. local time.

WhatsApp to allow users to hide ‘online’ status for specific contacts

WhatsApp to allow users to hide ‘online’ status for specific contacts
  • Android beta versions of WhatsApp 2.20.7 and 2.22.9 will soon allow you to hide your online status.
  • A new option called “Who can see when I’m online” will be available.
  • Both iOS and Android users can sign up for the WhatsApp beta program.

Last month, three major privacy-focused enhancements to WhatsApp were made by Mark Zuckerberg’s team. Quiet group exits, prohibiting screenshots in temporary messages, and obscuring the online status.

This newest feature is already available to some Android users.

According to WaBetaInfo, the Android beta versions of WhatsApp 2.22.20.7 and 2.22.20.9 will soon allow you to hide your online status.

There is currently no timeframe, but the global deployment will happen after, just like with any other experimental feature.

How you can test this new feature

In general, there is a probability that a new feature won’t make it into the stable version of WhatsApp if it first appears in the WhatsApp Beta Program.

It’s crucial to have the “hide online status” option. We will ultimately receive the update for our cellphones because Meta made the official announcement.

Because the global implementation of this new feature aimed at boosting privacy in the messaging app will eventually become a reality, it is exciting to evaluate what we have discovered in the beta and learn how it will work.

Check out this screenshot from WaBetaInfo.

The selections in the Last seen section won’t change. We can choose from “Everyone,” “My contacts, except,” or “Nobody,” in other words.

But a new option called “Who can see when I’m online” will be available. Additionally, you have the option of “Everyone” or “Same as last seen”.

We must currently wait to use this WhatsApp feature, also those that are currently under development.

Anyway, both iOS and Android users can sign up for the beta program.

If you wish to test out the new features and contribute to the application’s development. By evaluating new updates (it is not advised to use your primary account in this due to the dangers that imply).

‘Queen Elizabeth II watched The Crown on projector:’ says Matt Smith

The Crown
  • Matt Smith played Prince Philip in seasons one and two of The Crown.
  • Says he heard Queen Elizabeth II used to watch the show on a projector every Saturday night.
  • Adds that the late Duke of Edinburgh was not fond of the show, “I know that Philip definitely didn’t [watched the show].”

According to actor Matt Smith, Queen Elizabeth II enjoyed the Netflix popular drama series The Crown and used to watch it on a projector every Saturday.

The House of the Dragon actor, who portrayed young Prince Philip in seasons one and two of the popular drama series, stated in an interview that he had heard the Queen used to watch the programme.

“I heard the queen had watched it,” Smith said on the show. “And she used to watch it on a projector on a Sunday night, apparently.”

However, the late Duke of Edinburgh was not fond of the show as the actor said, “I know that Philip definitely didn’t [watched the show].”

“A friend of mine sat next to him at a dinner once, and he asked him,” Smith explained. “My friend couldn’t resist. By the end of the meal, he was like, ‘Philip, I have to ask. Have you watched The Crown?’”

“And [he] apparently turned ’round to him and went, ‘Don’t be ridiculous,'” the actor added.

Smith claims that he “became in love with Phillip” while filming the show’s first two seasons, despite the reaction.

‘He was a real modernizer and really interesting. I fell in love with Philip really to be honest,’ he said, adding that he thought Phillip and the Queen were ‘a fabulous couple.’

‘He loved her. He really made her laugh.’
