For the four T20 matches between Pakistan and England that will take place at the National Stadium, a security coordination conference was held in Karachi on Thursday.
According to officials, those who were present at the meeting at the SSU Headquarters went over the security protocols before the matches started.
The conference was presided over by DIG Security and Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed, and participants included SSU SP Azhar Mughal, Rangers, Pakistan Army, PCB, and other stakeholders.
At the National Stadium, Karachi Airport, routes, hotels, practice grounds, and other locations, SSU commandos, district police, traffic police, Special Branch, army, Sindh Rangers, and other law enforcement agencies will provide security, while sharpshooters will be stationed at sensitive locations.
