ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday issued a strong condemnation of the assault in Tank that was carried out on polio workers. He said that those who threaten the health of the nation’s younger generation would be dealt with severely.
As a consequence of terrorists opening fire on a polio team in the slum area of Kot Azam in Tank, the deaths of two police officers, identified as Sepoy Pir Rehman and Sepoy Nisar Khan, have been denounced by the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
He conveyed his condolences to the families of the law enforcement officers who had been killed in the line of duty and said that the country honored the significant contributions made by law enforcement officers.
According to Prime Minister Sharif, those who were responsible for the assaults on the polio team had the intention of causing the children of the nation to suffer from impairments as a result of the debilitating illness.
