Facebook Messenger is introducing end-to-end encrypt voice and video calls

How to Download Videos from Messenger

Facebook is introducing an end-to-end encryption feature for voice and video calls in their Messenger App. Facebook announced in a blog post that they are rolling out the change today along with new controls for its disappearing messages. Some of their users may also view new test features related to encryption.

Facebook Messenger has already got end-to-end encryption for text messages back in 2016 when Facebook added a “secret conversation” option to their app. Now that mode also supports calling. Facebook says they are adding the feature as interest in voice and video calls raise, saying that the Messenger app now sees more than 150 million video calls per day.

Facebook chat app WhatsApp is already offering to call with end-to-end encryption or E2EE, which prevents anyone but a sender and receiver from seeing the encrypted data. Similarly some other video calling apps like Zoom, Signal, and Apple’s FaceTime. Facebook characterizes E2EE as “becoming the industry standard” across messaging services. Previously rumors have proposed that Facebook might roll out a unified, end-to-end encrypted messaging system across WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram but up till now, nothing happened.

Text conversations are getting a smaller update that is if the person is setting a message to disappear, then he will see more options for picking when it expired, from between five seconds and 24 hours.

Facebook is also running a limited beta test for other features that are some users will see an option for end-to-end encrypted group chats and calls between “friends and family that already have an existing chat thread or are already connected.” While others will get support for Facebook’s existing non-E2EE controls over who can reach them on Messenger and finally if you are using Instagram, a “limited test” will offer opt-in E2EE for that app’s direct messages as well.

Apple iPhone 13 has incredible new photo and video features

iPhone 13 will feature satellite communication connectivity

Apple iPhone 13 could be getting even better video quality and new photo features a focused camera and brings along with some amazing creative tools to both video and photography.

The most amazing feature is the ability to shoot and edit videos using the tool ProRes. The users who love to shoot videos would get benefit from this new amazing feature as it contains a high-quality format that tries to reduce the quality loss that comes with compression while creating files that can be edited with negligible fuss. This new format is used on Macs and Apple’s own Final Cut editing software. This might be limited to the Pro models, but it would be weighty for creators who shoot on their phones but then edit their shots later.

However, the form it will use in the phone is still not known, ProRes moreover allows the generation of proxy files. These files are smaller and more manageable, and can be edited on low-power systems, and can be later converted to high-quality versions for the final render.

The control and wide support for ProRes make this worthy. Moving files from iPhone to Mac would allow more creative control during editing and reserve more detail. In professional cinema, like Arri Alexa which can record in ProRes for certain video types. It is also supported by BlackMagic cameras, even though that company has now its compression system for new models.

5 Utterly amazing facts about Apples

5 Utterly amazing facts about Apples

Today, we bring these newly discovered facts to light! Hopefully, you’re prepared to recall some information

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first supergroup to use Apple as a brand name.

Apple Corps was launched by the Beatles in 1968 to represent their creative interests. After Apple Computer became well-known, the two companies came to an agreement that Apple Computer would not use its logo or brand in the music industry. Apple starts producing music via iTunes in early 2003, and that altered everything. It took another seven years for the Beatles to eventually give up and allow iTunes to broadcast their music.

That said, as Snow White can attest, apples aren’t entirely benign

The fruit’s immune system includes a chemical called amygdalin, which is found in apple seeds. The amygdalin in apple seeds can break down into hydrogen cyanide, which can be lethal in high concentrations if crushed or chewed. However, it would take at least 160 apple seeds to endanger an adult’s life.

There’s plenty of truth to the saying “An apple a day keeps the doctor away”

A large apple has about 115 calories and 5 grams of fiber per serving, and the polyphenols and fiber in the fruit help to balance bacteria in your gut. Apples are, in fact, one of the healthiest fruits you can eat. But don’t peel it: the skin contains two-thirds of an apple’s antioxidant properties and most of its fiber.

There used to be a greater variety of apple cultivars.

While local grocery stores may appear to have a good assortment, we’re still a long way from what fruit historians refer to as “the golden period of pomology.” There were over 14,000 different apple variations in the United States during the 19th century. Only about 100 apple varieties are commercially grown now.

That forbidden apple in the Garden of Eden? It could have been a pomegranate

The narrative of Genesis does not specify which fruit Eve convinced Adam to give her. The generic term peri is used in the Hebrew Bible to indicate a fig, a grape, a pomegranate, an apricot, or even wheat, according to rabbinic scholars.
