  • Fahad Sheikh spoke about his experiences in the industry.
  • He disclosed that he was repeatedly banned from the industry.
  • Fahad also discussed his distaste for younger actors.

During a recent interview on Sohail Javed’s podcast, actor Fahad Sheikh—who gained notoriety for his breakthrough performance in the drama Jalan—spoke candidly about his experiences in the entertainment business.

Before turning to acting, Fahad was a TV host for a while. He later disclosed that he was repeatedly banned from the industry by some people because he would not put up with disrespect.

According to Fahad, the reason he is frequently called “difficult” is that he does not like to be flattered by people who treat him badly. His recent hit, Hasrat, is just one of his noteworthy performances that have helped him leave his mark despite these setbacks.

Fahad also discussed in the podcast his distaste for younger actors in the industry. He expressed his displeasure at the way some rising stars begin to detest the supporting actors and crew after they achieve success and financial security. He said that he strongly disapproves of newcomers’ lack of respect and emphasized the need to treat colleagues with respect at all levels.

Fahad’s open disclosures illuminated the difficulties he encountered and his dedication to upholding professionalism and ethics in the frequently cutthroat and unstable entertainment sector.

SC annuls LHC judgment on Punjab election tribunals

SC

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court accepted the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) petition and overturned the Lahore High Court’s (LHC) June 12 judgment on establishment of election tribunals in Punjab.

A 5-member bench headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa completed the hearing of the case and reserved the verdict, which the court announced on Monday morning.

The Chief Justice read out the decision and allowed the appeal of the Election Commission regarding the election tribunals in Punjab and annulled the decision of the Lahore High Court.

The decision of the court came from 5-0, in which the notification of the Registrar of Lahore High Court on the appointment of Judges Tribunal of June 12 has also been declared null and void.

The court observed the single bench verdict of the Lahore High Court cannot be presented as a judicial precedent. The High Court judge did not take into account the non-meeting of the Chief Election Commissioner and the Chief Justice.

The court said that a cautious attitude should be adopted when the dispute is related to a constitutional institution. The Election Commission pleaded that the constitution of election tribunals is the authority of the Election Commission.

The Chief Justice said that there is an additional note by Justice Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail and Justice Aqeel Abbasi.

It should be noted that on June 12, the Lahore High Court had given a verdict on the Punjab Election Tribunals, in which the court had constituted 6 election tribunals in Punjab.

Viral Video: Man Receives Hate After Smashing Guitar Signed by Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift
  • A man in a viral TikTok video smashed a guitar signed by Taylor Swift.
  • The video shows a man smashing the guitar with a hammer.
  • Fans accused the man of being attention-seeking.

Fans of Taylor Swift are astonished to see a man in a viral TikTok video smash a signed guitar that the singer allegedly paid $4,000 for at a live auction. The video, which has been going viral since September 30, depicts the man, much to the surprise of onlookers, casually smashing the valuable Cruel Summer guitar with a hammer. Fans accused the man of being attention-seeking after the incident, which caused widespread indignation.

“Huge shock! A man went to extreme lengths to show his dislike for Taylor Swift by buying a signed guitar for $4,000 at a live auction and immediately destroying it,” one user commented. Another added, “What a wild move! That’s some serious commitment to a joke—definitely not how most would treat a prized possession.”

Particularly since Swift recently endorsed Kamala Harris for the upcoming election, there has been growing speculation that the man’s actions could have political motivation. “That’s a real patriot cleaning up and removing propaganda from circulation. What a hero,” one commenter wrote.

Republicans no longer support Swift, as evidenced by an NBC News poll that showed 26% of Republicans last November and 47% of them now have a negative opinion of her.

  • SUGA had a blood alcohol level of 0.227 percent.

According to South Korea’s Yonhap News Agency, K-pop sensation and BTS member SUGA was fined $11,000 for riding an electric scooter while being drunk. The incident happened on August 6 when police discovered the 31-year-old, whose legal name is Min Yoon-gi, lying next to his e-scooter with a blood alcohol level significantly over the legal limit.

Last Friday, the Seoul Western District Court imposed a fine of 15 million won ($11,465), in accordance with the prosecution’s suggestion. According to Yonhap, which cited legal sources, SUGA had a blood alcohol level of 0.227 percent, which is nearly three times higher than the legal limit in South Korea. The Road Traffic Act of the nation stipulates that driving a vehicle with a blood alcohol level exceeding 0.2 percent carries a maximum five-year prison sentence and a fine of up to 20 million won.

SUGA’s driving license has already been revoked. He is a social service agent currently serving mandatory military duty. The singer will be punished under civilian traffic law, according to Seoul’s Military Manpower Administration, because the incident happened after working hours.
