ECP approved the application of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz(PML-N) Anjum Aqeel, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Khurram Nawaz.

The Election Commission while giving a decision on the application of Anjum Aqeel, Tariq Fazal and Khurram Nawaz directed to transfer the applications related to the three constituencies to other tribunals.

It should be remembered that in the general elections of February 2024, the opposition candidates had leveled allegations of rigging against the candidates of the PML-N, who were successful in the three seats of Islamabad.

The Islamabad High Court had suspended the notification of the success of the three PML-N leaders while the matter was in the Election Tribunal.

Expressing no confidence in the election tribunal, the League leaders had filed a petition to refer the matter to other tribunals.

A few days ago, the ECP had reserved its decision on the requests of Muslim League-N leaders.
