ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police has registered a case of assault on Bushra Bibi’s ex-husband Khawar Farid Maneka.

A case has been registered against PTI’s lawyers Ali Ijaz Buttar and Naeem Haider Panjutha, the FIR has other provisions including terrorism.

It should be noted that Khawar Maneka was attacked on the occasion of the hearing of the marriage case on Eid’s last day.

Bushra Bibi’s ex-husband Khawar Maneka was subjected to torture by PTI lawyers on his arrival at Islamabad court.

Khawar Maneka was rescued by the lawyers accompanying her after the lawyer’s torture and took her to the court.

QUETTA: President Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) and Member of National Assembly (MNA) Khalid Hussain Magsi narrowly escaped in murderous attempt in Naseerabad District of Balochistan.

The armed men opened fire on Khalid Magsi’s convoy, but security personnel and guards responded swiftly, forcing the attackers to flee. Khalid Magsi was going from Quetta to Jhal Magsi when this incident happened.

Former Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani has condemned the attack on Khalid Magsi.

ISLAMABAD:  The federal government on Thursday formed a new cabinet committee related to the Faizabad sit-in case.

The committee will recommend that a new commission should be formed to investigate the Faizabad sit-in or not. The cabinet committee will give its recommendations in two weeks.

According to the notice issued by the Cabinet Division, if the committee recommends the formation of a new commission, it will also determine the Terms of References (ToR). The Cabinet Committee will be headed by Federal Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazir Tarar.

The Interior Minister, Establishment Division Minister, Attorney General and Secretary will be the members of the Law Committee.
