QUETTA: President Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) and Member of National Assembly (MNA) Khalid Hussain Magsi narrowly escaped in murderous attempt in Naseerabad District of Balochistan.

The armed men opened fire on Khalid Magsi’s convoy, but security personnel and guards responded swiftly, forcing the attackers to flee. Khalid Magsi was going from Quetta to Jhal Magsi when this incident happened.

Former Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani has condemned the attack on Khalid Magsi.

Sadiq Sanjrani also made telephonic contact with Khalid Magsi and inquired about his welfare.

Sadiq Sanjrani said that thankfully Khalid Magsi was safe in the murderous attack. The attack on Khalid Magsi is a deliberate conspiracy and demanded to the provincial government to immediately arrest the elements involved in the attack.

ISLAMABAD: Former Senator and founding member of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar took oath as the 8th Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan.

President Dr. Arif Alvi took oath as Caretaker Prime Minister from Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar. Former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Speaker Raja Pervez Sharaf, Governor Punjab Baligh ur Rehman, Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori, Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi, and PTI Senator Shahzad Waseem attended the ceremony.

Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani, and other high-ranking officials were also present on the occasion.

Outgoing Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif left the President’s House, before leaving, Shehbaz Sharif was presented with a guard of honor.
Shahbaz Sharif has also been de-notified as the Prime Minister, the notification of which has been issued.

The Cabinet Division has also issued the notification of Anwaar Haq Kakar as Caretaker Prime Minister.

Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has also resigned from the Senate seat to remain neutral as caretaker Prime Minister, which was approved by the Senate Chairman.

Anwar Haq Kakar was born in 1971 in Muslim Bagh, Killa Saifullah ​​Balochistan, he got his primary education from Sun Francis High School, Quetta, after which he joined Cadet College, Kohat, but came back to Quetta after the death of his father.

Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar went to London for higher education. H also did Masters in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Balochistan.
He joined politics on PML-Q’s ticket for a National Assembly seat in 2008 but later joined the PML-N.

He then served as spokesman of then-Balochistan chief minister Sanaullah Zehri for almost 3 years from 2013-15.

ISLAMABAD: Provincial ministers and members of Balochistan Assembly belonging to Balochistan Awami Party(BAP) are likely to join Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

According to sources, the leadership of PML-N Balochistan contacted former Chief Minister Jam Kamal.

Sources say that PML-N contacted provincial ministers Mohammad Khan Lehri and Sarfaraz Domki, while provincial minister Sardar Masood Luni, former minister Shoaib Nosherwani are also likely to join PML-N.

According to sources, the leadership of Muslim League-N Balochistan is expected to meet the leaders of BAP.

It should be noted that the former Chief Minister Jam Kamal had also met the chief organizer of Muslim League –Nawaz(PML-N) Maryam Nawaz.

On the other hand, Former Chief Minister Jam Kamal has now met the chief organizer of Muslim League-Nawaz(PML-N) Maryam Nawaz after his contacts with the People’s Party and Senator Anwar ul Haq Kakar was also present with Jam Kamal on this occasion.

Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) leader Jam Kamal was also a minister in the federal cabinet of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and then Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

On the other hand, apart from Jam Kamal, Member of National Assembly Malik Sohail Khan and former MPA Akhtar Wali also had separate meetings with Maryam Nawaz.

QUETTA: After the involvement of the Federal Government in Balochistan, Jamiat e Ulma e Islam (JUI-F) agreed to be part of the provincial government where the party leaders demanded to outclass Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) from the provincial government, BOL News reported on Tuesday.

According to the details, Chief Minister of Balochistan Abdul Quddus Bazinjo will meet Molana Wasay of JUI-F in the second round of meeting at his residency. In the provincial government, seven PTI MPAs are in the cabinet including a deputy speaker and a parliamentary secretary.

As per the details, CM Balochistan met Molana Wasay on Monday where they discussed the formulae of provincial ministries. Moreover, JUI-F demanded four ministries and a post of an advisor to the government of Balochistan.

Molana Wasay demanded the Ministry of Planning and Development, Health, and agriculture ministries from the CM of Balochistan. Abdul Quddus Bazinjo affirmed that he will discuss these demands with his party colleagues and allies in Balochistan.

As per the BOL News report, CM Abdul Quddus Bazinjo also asked Balochistan National Party (BNP) Mengal to become an ally. Sardar Akhtar Mengal gave this authority to the central committee to decide whether to become part of the government or not.
