ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted that Eidul Adha 2024 is likely to be on June 17 (Monday).

The PMD’s Climate Data Processing Centre has predicted that the crescent moon for Dhul-Hijjah will be born on June 6 at 5:38 PM.

“The moon’s age in Karachi at sunset will be 26 hours and 8 minutes,” stated the Centre, adding that “the moon is expected to be visible for 72 minutes after sunset.”

However, the final decision on moon sighting will be made by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.

Eidul Adha 2024 Holidays in Pakistan According to the 2024 holiday calendar, the holidays for Eidul Adha will be observed from June 17 to 19. However, the holidays will effectively begin from June 15, as most government offices are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
