Heart disease is very common in older people or adults, and it doesn’t matter if a person is a man or a woman, a sedentary lifestyle can increase the risk of a heart attack or stroke, while people with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high blood sugar, smoking, and stress-related health issues can also develop heart issues. Not only that, but someone who has a history of heart issues in their family may also develop them in the near future. Nevertheless, one must take control of his health and avoid disregarding the warning signals of heart issues.

In India, where certain heart conditions like heart failure, coronary heart disease, angina, and arrhythmia are frequently observed, heart disease is one of the main causes of death. As the red flags that men should recognise at the appropriate time and seek immediate medical attention to, Dr. Bipeenchandra Bhamre, Consultant Cardiac Surgeon at Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre in Mumbai, highlighted some vital signs and symptoms of heart disease that men shouldn’t ignore in an interview with HT Lifestyle. These include:

1. A cardiac condition is indicated by chest discomfort: In their chests, some patients experience a pressing and burning feeling. specifically after exercising or working. Some men may experience chest pain as a sign of coronary artery disease. It is preferable to speak with a doctor before beginning treatment.

2. Constipation, nausea, and pain in the abdomen: In certain patients, abdominal pain is a sign of heart disease.

3. Arm ache: Were you aware of this? A heart attack is characterised by pain that travels from the chest to the left arm. The left shoulder and arm are also affected, as are numbness and weakness.

4. Experiencing dizziness or lightheadedness: If the heart is unable to adequately pump blood to the brain and other organs, one may experience these symptoms. When the body does not receive the necessary amount of blood flow, this occurs because of a shortage of oxygen. Heart arrhythmia and even cardiomyopathy can cause lightheadedness and vertigo.

5. A core chest discomfort called angina that radiates to the left shoulder or throat pain. After exercising or engaging in other activities, this occurs.

Tell your doctor right away if you experience discomfort or pain after you walk so they can further examine and provide you with the appropriate care. Dr. Bipeenchandra Bhamre stated, “It will be crucial for you to exercise everyday, consume a well-balanced diet, avoid stress, and maintain an ideal weight in order to ward against heart disease. To give your heart the best possible care, try to live a healthy lifestyle. Follow the doctor’s advice to have routine heart health screenings every six months. Reduce smoking as well to maintain heart health. It is preferable to follow the doctor’s advice and get regular health checkups and follow-ups.

Nushratt will reprise her role as Sakshi, the main character, in Chhorri 2. Chhorii marked a considerable departure from the work I had previously done, so it feels wonderful to see the risk rewarded. KARACHI: Additional Inspector General of Police Karachi, Javed Alam Odho has assured the industrialists of the site industrial area to implement effective security measures, said that the Safe City project will be inaugurated in Karachi very soon, the main office of which will consist of a 10-storey building.

The police system to shift on smart card system, besides ordering body cams for the police. On Wednesday, the venerable ghazal master Jagjit Singh will turn 82 years old. He has a sizable fan base and is credited with popularizing ghazals and introducing them to the middle class. However, during his college years, his roommates would encourage him to quit practicing, but he was still confident in his abilities at the time.

Even in his undergraduate years, Jagjit Singh was convinced that his music would propel him to great heights. He has loved and worshipped music since he was a young child. When they lived together while attending DAV College in Jalandhar, vocalist Surendra Mohan Pathak recalls how the singer would rehearse music in the early hours, upsetting other dormmates.

In the biography Baat Niklegi Toh Phir: The Life and Music of Jagjit Singh by author Sathya Saran, Surendra remembers being Jagjit’s roommate and classmate as they both pursued BSc degrees at DAV College. He continues by saying that pupils with the lowest marks were given the last option when it came to choosing a room, and one such option was to stay in a room next to Jagjit Singh’s. This was due to Jagjit Singh’s daily two-hour riyaz practice sessions for singing, which began at five in the morning.

Surendra is also quoted in the book as adding, “Every evening at five, the riyaz session would be repeated for two hours. The boarders who lived next to Jagjit Singh’s room felt that they were being persecuted because of the constant “ruckus.” He would grab hold of any other boarder in the hallway and sing a catchy movie tune for him on other times as well. The listener, who was typically anything but appreciative, would shrug him off and say, “Friend, you won’t clear the papers, but let us study,” in addition to shaking him off. “Saalon, you will not listen to me now, but there will come a day when you’ll pay for this luxury,” Jagjit Singh would retort passionately in response.

In the book, Surendra also relates how, “at the audience’s request, and there never was a dry eye left,” Jagjit Singh would sing the same song every year during Lohri celebrations. Even after the song had ended, a lot of the youngsters would continue to cry in public. “Ay taa jag diyaan lohriyaa, saadhi ka di lohri akkhaan” was the song. Although Jagjit Singh is most renowned for singing ghazals, his extensive catalog also features bhajans, tappe, and other popular Punjabi songs.

KARACHI: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the successful negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will improve the situation of Pakistan’s economy.

Federal Minister Bilawal Bhutto while addressing the conference said that the economy is going through a difficult period, and there is a severe economic and political crisis in the country.

The foreign minister said that the finance minister is currently holding meetings with IMF and it is hoped that the negotiations will be successful. He said the success of the negotiations will improve the situation of the Pakistani economy, and the economic needs of the country will be met.

He said major parts of Pakistan were badly affected due to the monsoon rains and flood last year. He said the flood destroyed agriculture in Sindh and Punjab. He said United Nation supported the country in this difficult time.

The federal minister said that after the successful Geneva conference and government has decided today to build houses, hospitals, and schools in these areas.

The Foreign Minister said that “I am very grateful to the UN Secretary-General who took his time and came to Pakistan to help the people.”

Bilawal Bhutto said that now other organizations are also coming forward for People’s Housing and the provincial government needs 1.5 billion dollars to build houses.

He said that the Prime Minister has assured the chief minister of Sindh that the federal government will provide the share and will also give ownership rights to the flood-affected people.

Recently, actor Pawan Kalyan found time to film for the well-liked Unstoppable discussion show in Telugu. Currently in its second season, the program is hosted by actor Nandamuri Balakrishna. In the opening segment of the conversation, Pawan Kalyan discussed his experience with depression and revealed that as a young adult, he considered “taking my own life.”

This program, which has previously featured a number of Telugu film industry luminaries, is where Pawan made his television debut. On February 10 on Aha, the second segment of Pawan’s conversation with Balakrishna will debut.

UK: Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky will pay an unexpected visit to London on Wednesday, according to Downing Street, at a time when Kiev is pushing the West to deploy more arms and military help to oppose Russian advances.

According to UK sources, Zelensky will meet Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and address Parliament alongside Ukrainian troops being trained by British forces.

The president’s travel to London is just his second outside of his country since Russia invaded Ukraine nearly a year ago, following his December visit to Washington, DC.

The trip comes at a time when Zelensky has been desperately seeking military assistance from Western friends, as Ukrainian officials warn that Moscow is planning a spring onslaught.

Britain stated on Wednesday that it would provide additional military weapons to Kyiv to help repel a potential Russian spring onslaught. Sunak stated that the UK would provide more training to Ukrainian fighter pilots and marines, as well as a long-term investment in Ukraine’s military.

The United Kingdom will begin training Ukrainian pilots on NATO-standard fighter jets. This will be Ukraine’s first official training program on Western fighter aircraft. However, there was no discussion of arming Ukraine with Western fighter planes, as Zelensky has been advocating.

Longer range capabilities

The UK also said it will provide Ukraine with “longer range capabilities,” without going into details.

“The Prime Minister will also offer to provide Ukraine with longer range capabilities,” a Downing Street statement read. “This will disrupt Russia’s ability to continually target Ukraine’s civilian and critical national infrastructure and help relieve pressure on Ukraine’s frontlines.”

NATO countries recently responded to Kyiv’s request for main battle tanks to reinforce its military, which had previously relied on Soviet-era tanks.

In mid-January, the United Kingdom was the first to announce that it would send 12 Challenger 2 tanks to Ukraine. Following weeks of pressure, Germany and the United States announced that they would supply Leopard 2 and M1 Abrams tanks, respectively.

Sunak said: “President Zelensky’s visit to the UK is a testament to his country’s courage, determination and fight, and a testament to the unbreakable friendship between our two countries.

“Since 2014, the UK has provided vital training to Ukrainian forces, allowing them to defend their country, protect their sovereignty and fight for their territory.

“I am proud that today we will expand that training from soldiers to marines and fighter jet pilots, ensuring Ukraine has a military able to defend its interests well into the future.”
