Linda Evangelista, who was left ‘brutally disfigured’ after a botched cosmetic procedure, has revealed why she chose the procedure in the first place.

Evangelista revealed in her latest Vogue cover story how advertisements for the ‘CoolSculpting’ treatment convinced her that she needed the surgery, adding that her ‘vanity’ also played a role.

The former supermodel revealed: “Those CoolSculpting commercials were on all the time, on CNN, on MSNBC, over and over, and they would ask, ‘Do you like what you see in the mirror?’ They were speaking to me.”

She added: “It was about stubborn fat in areas that wouldn’t budge. It said no downtime, no surgery and… I drank the magic potion, and I would because I’m a little vain. So, I went for it – and it backfired.”

Evangelista first revealed her harrowing experience with the procedure last year, detailing how the fat-freezing procedure promised to reduce fat cells but instead resulted in increased fat cells in key areas such as her face and neck.

Jennifer Garner will not be attending her ex-husband Ben Affleck’s three-day wedding celebration with Jennifer Lopez.

According to a source close to the couple, the Argo and Marry Me stars invited Garner to their second wedding, but she declined due to work obligations.

“Jennifer Garner is hard at work on a project in Texas and won’t be attending the wedding celebration, but she’s been totally supportive of her kids being there,” the source told the outlet.

The actor, who was married to Affleck for 13 long years, shares three kids with him; Violet, 16, and Seraphina, 13, and Sam, 11.

The Adam Project star “is really positive in general about the whole thing,” the insider added. “There is nothing more important to her than her kids’ happiness.”

“So the fact that the kids feel welcomed and at ease and have bonded with J.Lo and her kids is just the best thing she could ask for,” the source shared.

Another insider told the publication that Garner has already “congratulated” the love birds for their lavish plans to celebrate their union as she won’t be able to attend.

“Ben will always consider Jennifer family so of course he extended an invitation,” the source said. “Plus, Jennifer and Jen have become closer so J.Lo was fully supportive of inviting the mother of his kids.”

“Jennifer knows they adore J.Lo and she’s fully on board with them getting close with their new stepmom. Jennifer has wished them all the best and knows it will be a beautiful event,” the outlet shared.

As per reports shared by various media outlets, JLo and Affleck will be hosting a three-day wedding bash in the actor’s estate in Riceboro, Georgia this weekend.

The “intimate celebration for family and friends” will begin with a rehearsal dinner on Friday and the main event is scheduled for Saturday which will be followed by barbecue and a picnic on Sunday.

The extravagant ceremony’s guest list includes Matt Damon, Jimmy Kimmel, Casey Affleck, Drea de Matteo, and a few other well-known names.

Kanye West defended his “idea” of selling the Yeezy Gap collection in “trash bags,” saying he will not “apologise” for his innovations.

The rapper was criticised online after a Twitter user revealed that he had displayed his latest clothing collection in garbage bags.

“This is how they are selling Yeezy GAP,” the user wrote on the social site along with an image showing disheveled merchandise stuffed into large black bags at Gap stores.

 

“The sales associate said Ye got mad when he saw they had it on hangers and this is how he wanted it,” the user added. “They won’t help you find ur size too, you just have to just dig through everything.”

While defending his innovative idea, the rapper said that his merchandise is actually stuffed into large construction bags during interview with Fox News.

“I’m an innovator and I’m not here to sit up and apologize for my ideas,” Ye said. “That’s exactly what the media tries to do: make us apologize for any idea that doesn’t fall under exactly the way they want us to think.

“This is not a joke, this is not a game, this is not just a celebrity collaboration … this is my life,” he added. “I’m fighting for a position to be able to change clothing and bring the best design to the people.”

Previously, Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband said that for his latest collection, “the homeless” are his inspiration, attracting severe criticism.

“Kanye’s fetish with the homeless as ‘fashion muses’ [is] everything that is wrong with billionaires,” one Twitter user wrote.

“They no longer see the plight of people, they don’t see humans that are suffering, they see opportunities to be edgy’ and profit,” the tweet further read.

“Why are the rich obsessed with looking poor? They love to play pretend,” another user added.
