Jennifer Aniston joked about her divorce from Brad Pitt during her appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show’s last episode.
The Friends alum, who was the show’s first guest when it premiered in 2003, discussed her personal experience when the comedic series ended after ten seasons.
“Oh, where did 19 years go?” the 53-year-old actress said, adding, “I don’t understand.”
DeGeneres questioned the actor how she dealt with the closure of her comedy programme after ten years on the air.
“I got divorced and went to counselling,” Aniston joked. “Oh! Then I made a film called The Break-Up. “I simply sort of leaned into the finish.”
“I was simply like, ‘You know what, guys?'” she continued. Let’s start over with a fresh chapter.”
“Let’s just end everything and then start again,” Ellen said, to which Aniston replied, “Let’s just end everything and then start over.”
“Everything worked out!” “It worked amazing!” said the talk show host, with Aniston adding, “It worked great!”
Aniston and the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star separated a year after Friends concluded in 2005. The pair was married for 5 years before divorcing.
The actor later married Justin Theroux in 2015, however the couple divorced two years later in 2017.
