Alia Bhatt Gives Thumbs Up To Kareena Kapoor’s ‘Jaane Jaan’ Trailer

Alia Bhatt praised Kareena Kapoor as she celebrated her Netflix debut in the film “Jaane Jaan.” After the streaming platform released the intriguing trailer for this mystery thriller, set to premiere on Kareena’s 41st birthday on September 21, Alia Bhatt shared it on her Instagram story and wrote, “First, what an excellent trailer, and second, what a cast! I mean… all my favorite actors in one film… uff, can’t handle it.”

Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, this highly anticipated movie also features Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat alongside Kareena Kapoor.

“Jaane Jaan” is an adaptation of the bestselling Japanese novel “The Devotion of Suspect X” by Keigo Higashino.

Regarding her debut on the OTT platform, Kareena expressed, “This is the first time audiences will see me in a thriller, playing something gritty like this.”

“I had to say yes to ‘Jaane Jaan’ the first time I heard of it. I’ve always told Sujoy that the film’s unique selling point is its cast, and I had a fantastic time working with Jaideep and Vijay,” concluded the star.

Kareena Kapoor has reacted to the trend where a section of people boycott Bollywood films.
The actor asked how will people be entertained if there are no films.
Kareena attended the Indian Chamber of Commerce-Young Leaders Forum event in Kolkata.

Actress Kareena Kapoor has responded to the trend where some people are refusing to watch Bollywood movies. Kareena recently questioned how people will be entertained in the absence of movies during a function in Kolkata. Kareena was in Kolkata on Sunday for the Indian Chamber of Commerce-Young Leaders Forum event.

The “#Boycott Bollywood” campaign began last year, before a number of movies, including Laal Singh Chadha, Liger, Brahmastra, and Raksha Bandhan, were released. The tendency had an impact on some of the movies’ box office performance.

Kareena said, “I don’t agree with it at all. If that happens, how will we entertain, how will you have the joy and happiness in your life, which, I think everybody needs And which cinema and films are promising, which we have always done, which films have always done. Agar films nahi hogi toh entertainment kaisa hoga (If films aren’t there how will the people be entertained).”

Before Laal Singh Chaddha was released, Twitter users urged people not to see the film by trending the hashtag #BoycottLaalSinghChaddha. Many urged for boycotting movies like Liger, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday, and Brahmastra, featuring Ranbir Kapoor. But Brahmastra was one of the highest-grossing movies of 2022 because to its strong box office performance. Prior to the release of Pathaan, starring Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan, the trend once more began.

Kareena is working on a number of projects. She will next be seen in the suspenseful film The Devotion of Suspect X, directed by Sujoy Ghosh and based on the novel of the same name. Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma are also featured in the movie. In addition to that, she also has the upcoming, untitled movie from director Hansal Mehta.

In addition, she stars in the upcoming comedy The Crew with Tabu and Kriti Sanon. The faltering airline business serves as the backdrop for the Rajesh Krishnan-directed movie. Balaji Motion Pictures Limited and Anil Kapoor Productions will collaborate on the production of The Crew. It is scheduled to open for business in February 2023.

A fan shared a snapshot of the two with the film’s team on Twitter. The admirer captioned the post, “BTS ..one from #devotionofsuspectx sets @sujoy_g #KareenaKapoorKhan ..team work.”

Kareena was wearing a checkered blue shirt and denim and stood next to Sujoy with her hand on his shoulder in the photo. He chose an off-the-shoulder black T-shirt and jeans. As they posed for the camera, the squad smiled. Sujoy Ghosh re-posted the photo on his Twitter account, writing, “How do you get these photos? I want.” The filming took place in various locations throughout West Bengal.

The film, an adaptation of the Japanese hit The Devotion of Suspect X, wrapped production in June. The Netflix film is a murder investigation. Kareena is in it with Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma.
