Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan have officially called it quits after a year-long relationship, with sources citing long-distance challenges as the primary reason for their breakup.

According to Life & Style, an insider revealed, “It was frustrating being apart so much, and the long-distance factor really did them in. It’s over.” Carpenter, 24, has been touring North America for her Short n’ Sweet tour, while Keoghan, 32, has been filming Crime 101 in Los Angeles, leaving little time for the couple to spend together.

The duo, who first sparked dating rumors in December 2023, were known for their mutual support throughout their relationship. However, rumors of a split began swirling in August when gossip account DeuxMoi shared an anonymous tip suggesting trouble in paradise. Despite this, Carpenter and Keoghan maintained a united front until reports of their separation surfaced in early December.

“They are both young and career-focused, so they’ve decided to take a break,” a source told People Magazine.

Barry Keoghan recently made his first public appearance following allegations of cheating on his girlfriend, Sabrina Carpenter.

This appearance comes amid rumors that Barry had an affair with influencer Breckie Hill, leading to intense scrutiny on social media.

In response to the controversy, Barry addressed the allegations via his X account, explaining his decision to step away from social media.
