A meeting was held Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchises on Thursday, which now has been ended.

It was decided in the meeting to allow Naseem Shah to play the remaining PSL 6 matches, however, his return to the bio-secure bubble depends on his COVID-19 test reports.

The 18-year-old cricketer will leave for Abu Dhabi on the third chartered flight from Pakistan after completing bio-secure bubble protocols.

The protocols in Pakistan include a pre-arrival test, hotel isolation and 2 repeat tests.

It should be mentioned here that Naseem was sent back home for violating multiple COVID-19 protocols as he submitted a non-compliant RT-PCR test result.

Naseem Shah, expressed his pain after being out of the Quetta Gladiator’s squad in PSL 2021, as he violated the COVID-19 protocols.

Naseem, 18, in a tweet, recalls his memories with his mother and told that if today his mother would be alive, he would have shared his problems with her and she would have to calm him in his difficult time.

He tweeted, “I wish my mother was alive today, I would have told her about my grief. She would have said, why are you upset? I’m here for you.”

In his tweet, he wrote, “I worked hard and was passionate about PSL. I followed the instructions by viewing all the messages in the group. I don’t know how I missed this message”.

He further said, “I want to play cricket as it is my life. I can’t describe how I am feeling right now. Allah will make me strong. I will make a comeback”.

PSL 6 Opening: Nassebo Lal Gets Trolled Over Looks, Shoddy Synchronization

PSL 6 opening ceremony Naseebo Lal

The opening ceremony of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 6 kicked off today at National Stadium, Karachi with Atif Aslam’s stellar performance recorded in Istanbul, Turkey. It was the singer’s first-ever performance for PSL.

Later on, renowned rapper Imran Khan took over the stage and sang his worldwide popular songs along with Pakistani actress Humaima Malick. The BOL starlet showed her amazing dance skills, multiplying the excitement of the performance.

In the end, this year’s PSL 6 official anthem Groove Mera singers; Naseeba Lal, Aima Baig, and Young Stunners took the charge and performed over the song beats. However, veteran singer Naseebo Lal seemed a bit confused on the stage.

The singer looked extremely nervous and couldn’t sync her lips with the song playing in the background. Viewers were quick to notice Naseebo Lal’s facial expressions and started to troll her once again on social media.

It was reported earlier that the opening ceremony would be held in Karachi’s National Stadium but due to the place being designated as a bio-secure bubble, the ceremony was recorded in Istanbul, Turkey.

As the event unfolded, Pakistani Twittaraties jumped in to talk about the opening ceremony and Naseebo Lal.

Furthermore, Defending champions Karachi Kings beat former champions Quetta Gladiators by seven wickets in the first PSL 6 playoff.

The Gladiators, after being invited to bat first, lost wickets at regular intervals and could only muster 121 runs — with only four players reaching double-digits — in the face of some terrific seam bowling by the Kings, for whom the young Arshad Iqbal (3-16) proved instrumental.

Moreover, PSL 2021 is trending top on Twitter. Some users were supporting their favourite teams while others brought out a hilarious side to the event.

Comprehensive security arrangements have been made for the event. Only 7,500 fans will be able to witness the matches at NSK due to the ongoing pandemic situation.

In total, 34 matches will be played during the month-long tournament that will conclude on 22nd March with the final to be played in Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
