“My heart is full and my life just got a whole lot better. 24/08/2024 will always be special to us. Welcome to the world my son, Aliyaar Afridi,” Afridi wrote alongside the photo.

The cricketer also expressed his gratitude to his wife, Ansha, whom he described as the ‘support system’ of their small family. He acknowledged the ‘pain and sufferings she had to endure’ and thanked everyone for their kind wishes and prayers. “I am grateful for all the lovely wishes and prayers coming our way. Remember my little family in your prayers,” Afridi added.

Shaheen Shah Afridi and Ansha Shahid, the second-eldest daughter of former national team captain Shahid Afridi, had their nikah in February 2023, with a week-long wedding celebration in September. Shaheen tied the knot with Ansha Afridi, the daughter of the legendary cricketer Shahid Afridi, in February 2023, after being engaged for two years.
