PSL 6 Opening: Nassebo Lal Gets Trolled Over Looks, Shoddy Synchronization

PSL 6 opening ceremony Naseebo Lal

The opening ceremony of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 6 kicked off today at National Stadium, Karachi with Atif Aslam’s stellar performance recorded in Istanbul, Turkey. It was the singer’s first-ever performance for PSL.

Later on, renowned rapper Imran Khan took over the stage and sang his worldwide popular songs along with Pakistani actress Humaima Malick. The BOL starlet showed her amazing dance skills, multiplying the excitement of the performance.

In the end, this year’s PSL 6 official anthem Groove Mera singers; Naseeba Lal, Aima Baig, and Young Stunners took the charge and performed over the song beats. However, veteran singer Naseebo Lal seemed a bit confused on the stage.

The singer looked extremely nervous and couldn’t sync her lips with the song playing in the background. Viewers were quick to notice Naseebo Lal’s facial expressions and started to troll her once again on social media.

It was reported earlier that the opening ceremony would be held in Karachi’s National Stadium but due to the place being designated as a bio-secure bubble, the ceremony was recorded in Istanbul, Turkey.

As the event unfolded, Pakistani Twittaraties jumped in to talk about the opening ceremony and Naseebo Lal.

Furthermore, Defending champions Karachi Kings beat former champions Quetta Gladiators by seven wickets in the first PSL 6 playoff.

The Gladiators, after being invited to bat first, lost wickets at regular intervals and could only muster 121 runs — with only four players reaching double-digits — in the face of some terrific seam bowling by the Kings, for whom the young Arshad Iqbal (3-16) proved instrumental.

Moreover, PSL 2021 is trending top on Twitter. Some users were supporting their favourite teams while others brought out a hilarious side to the event.

Comprehensive security arrangements have been made for the event. Only 7,500 fans will be able to witness the matches at NSK due to the ongoing pandemic situation.

In total, 34 matches will be played during the month-long tournament that will conclude on 22nd March with the final to be played in Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
