Shahid Kapoor & Family At Ruhaan-Manukriti’s Wedding: See Pics

Supriya Pathak and Pankaj Kapur’s son, Ruhaan Kapoor, recently got married to Manukriti Pahwa, the daughter of Seema Pahwa and Manoj Pahwa. Their wedding celebration took place on Saturday, and it was attended by Ruhaan’s half-brother, Shahid Kapoor, and his family. Shahid and his wife Mira Rajput were photographed by paparazzi before they headed to the event. Ruhaan’s mother, Supriya Pathak, was also seen welcoming guests. The guest list included Ratna Pathak Shah, Naseeruddin Shah, Imaad Shah, Vivaan Shah, and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub.

While pictures from the event have already circulated on social media, we have come across a new photograph from Ruhaan and Manukriti’s wedding festivities. In this picture, both the Kapoor and Pahwa families are seen posing with the newlyweds.

Manukriti Pahwa shared this family picture on her Instagram account from the wedding celebrations. The group photo features the Kapoor and Pahwa families standing together. Shahid Kapoor looks smart in a black kurta, with Mira beside him wearing a royal blue saree. Pankaj Kapur and Supriya Pathak are next to Shahid. Pankaj Kapur has a turban on his head, while Supriya Pathak is wearing a blue and gold saree. Their daughter, Sanah Kapoor, stands beside them, while the newlyweds, Ruhaan Kapoor and Manukriti Pahwa, are at the center. Shahid and Mira’s children, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor, look incredibly cute in their traditional outfits. Manukriti’s father, Manoj Pahwa, is dressed in all-black attire, while Seema Pahwa looks stunning in a blue kurta set.

Manukriti captioned the image, “Had the most perfect day, with the most perfect family ever!! 28.08.2023 Will always be the most special.” Sanah Kapur also shared the same picture, expressing, “My everything in a picture #family #love #wedding #everything.”

Shahid Kapoor is the son of Pankaj Kapur and Neelima Azeem. After divorcing Neelima Azeem, Pankaj Kapoor married Supriya Pathak, and they have two children together, Ruhaan and Sana Kapoor.

Dia Mirza recounts approaching ‘friend’ Rajkumar Hirani for Sanju

Dia also said that she called up Rajkumar Hirani and urged him to cast her in his biopic on Sanjay Dutt – Sanju.

Dia stated in an interview with Indian Express that “we sign a bond of grief when we become performers. Heartbreak occurs when your stories fail to connect with readers, producers, or both. Heartbreak also occurs when you are forced to wait for an eternity for someone to assign you work. It is very difficult. A successful film may lead artists to hope that it will bring in additional work for them, but this is not always the case, she added.

Dia added that she called Rajkumar Hirani and pleaded with him to include her in the cast of Sanjay Dutt’s biography, Sanju. “Sanju for me was oxygen. I actually required it. I recall that Raju is a buddy, therefore I called a friend for the first time in my professional career and stated,

She added that she never made a call to a friend for work before Sanju since she was always nervous and insecure about doing so. Maybe that’s one of the reasons I haven’t gotten other gigs; maybe it requires you calling the director and saying, “I want to work with you.”

Dia appeared in a number of movies in the early 2000s after making her acting debut in Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein in 2001, which starred R Madhavan and Saif Ali Khan. She made a comeback as a well-known face in the industry with the 2018 movie Sanju. Since then, she has worked on the online series Kaafir and Anubhav Sinha’s Thappad.

Pankaj Kapur responds to critics who label the movie Bheed

Pankaj Kapur responds to criticism of his upcoming film Bheed.
Which compares the 2020 lockdown to the Partition in 1947.
It stars Rajkummar Rao, Dia Mirza, Bhumi Pednekar, Ashutosh Rana, Virendra Saxena, Aditya Shrivastava, Kritika Kamra and Karan Pandit.

Veteran actor Pankaj Kapur discussed the criticism of his upcoming movie, Bheed, in an open forum. Many people have referred to the Anubhav Sinha-directed movie as “anti-national” after watching its teaser. In response to the assertions, Pankaj encouraged viewers to reserve their judgment until after viewing the movie.

Bheed describes the worker exodus that took place during the 2020 lockdown and contrasts it to the 1947 Partition. Rajkummar Rao, Dia Mirza, Bhumi Pednekar, Ashutosh Rana, Virendra Saxena, Aditya Shrivastava, Kritika Kamra, and Karan Pandit are some of the actors who appear in it. Pankaj portrays a watchman who is compelled to relocate during the Covid-caused shutdown in India.

In response to criticism of the Bheed trailer, Pankaj stated to Indian Express, “You must realize that in our society, which is what you’ll also see in our film, people will declare monsoons before a drop of rain comes. We are so opinionated and impatient. We act hastily rather than waiting and saying, “Well, let’s think about what is occurring,” instead of being patient. If you watch the movie first, you can comment. It’s absurd that just one little teaser… You then start claiming that it is a political movie. This film analyzes our society’s attitude, how we think, and how we respond to certain situations. Very few movies have ever shown authorities in a favorable light the way this one has.”

Many also questioned a scene in Bheed where Pankaj’s character reportedly spreads “Corona Jihad” by refusing to eat from Muslim men. After the Tablighi Jamat debate, the phrase was developed. “After you watch the movie, you’ll see that it was handled differently. This has been used by him (Sinha) as an idea that already existed, but the movie also includes another idea. Which, when you see it, will convince you that, at the end of the day, people are all the same,” the 68-year-old actor continued.

The film Bheed will be in black and white. It will be released in theaters on March 24, 2023, and was produced by T-Series and Benaras Mediaworks.
