  • Maria B referred to the protest as the “Qaum e Lout March.”

Renowned Pakistani fashion designer Maria B has responded strongly to the protest organized by Aurat March Lahore, where she was targeted by the participants.

The protest, which took place on February 12 in Lahore, followed Pakistan’s National Women’s Day, and saw demonstrators holding placards against Maria B and former actress Mishi Khan.

The rally, which started at the Press Club and ended at Faletti’s Hotel, aimed to raise awareness on various women’s issues, but Maria B did not hesitate to address the controversy surrounding the event.

In her response, she referred to the protest as the “Qaum e Lout March” and the “Unsuccessful Women’s March.” She stated, “We have already rejected the Aurat March, Qaum e Lout March, and Unsuccessful Women March, what else can I say about it?” Maria also responded to the criticism she and Mishi Khan faced, saying, “I have seen all your placards against me and Mishi Khan. We can only question your upbringing through such acts.”

According to her, the public of Pakistan had rejected the march and its agenda, and she emphasized that Pakistani women wanted to live according to Islamic teachings while striving for success and independence for their families.

She continued, “We know Pakistani women want to live their life according to Islamic teachings, they want to be independent and successful for their family. They want to become their family’s strength.” She criticized the protesters, claiming they were funded to promote an agenda and had failed to represent the true aspirations of Pakistani women.

After her video message, Maria B received widespread public support for her remarks, with Mishi Khan also thanking her for the strong response.

Ali Gul Pir Calls Out Maria B For Filing Case Against ‘Barzakh’

Ali Gul Pir
  • The buzz around the web series Barzakh continues.
  • Maria B threatened to take legal action against the show.
  • Rapper Ali Gul Pir has weighed in on the situation.

The buzz around the web series Barzakh continues even after its finale. Zindagi TV recently announced that it will be pulling the show from YouTube Pakistan on August 9 due to controversy over what some have called its “inappropriate” content.

Designer Maria B has since threatened to take legal action, accusing the show of pushing “provocative” themes.

Rapper Ali Gul Pir has weighed in on the situation, pointing out that Barzakh is an Indian production. He questioned whether Maria B would target other international shows with similar content, such as Game of Thrones. On his Instagram stories, Gul Pir commented, “There are many things on the internet, on YouTube. We faced a YouTube ban for three years before. This [Barzakh] is an Indian product. Your actors acted in it, but it’s an international project. You cannot ban everything on the internet.”

Gul Pir also argued that banning such content often just makes it more popular. “You don’t have to watch these things. I didn’t even know about this drama until it became famous because of all this fuss. If you don’t like something, just don’t watch it. Banning everything isn’t the answer.”

He expressed frustration with the focus on media controversies rather than more urgent issues. “It’s disappointing that while the world moves forward, we’re stuck debating a drama. There’s no outrage about our performance at the Olympics or the state of Jinnah Hospital. But when it comes to a drama, everyone’s up in arms. We need to focus on real problems, like education and healthcare.”

In response to Zindagi’s decision, Barzakh‘s director, Asim Abbasi, has supported the move, citing concerns for his team’s safety.

In her Instagram response, Maria B expressed her disbelief at Hussayn’s comments, saying, “I’m not surprised by anything this boy said, except that he thinks I have a mediocre career and am doing this for attention. Hussayn had earlier criticized Maria B’s views on Barzakh, questioning her credibility and intentions. He argued, “No one wants to correct her? Why? Are we responsible for her mediocre career, where she has to resort to creating hate content to run her business? Why are we not addressing minority hatred instead of focusing on what someone filmed? Watching it is a choice. What happened to everyone’s priorities? Who gave her the authority to address the masses on matters beyond her understanding?”

In a video posted on Instagram, Maria B had previously argued that Barzakh promotes vulgarity and supports an LGBTQ agenda.

Maria B receives criticism for her statement on Sar-e-Rah’s recent episode

  • Maria B has become well-known as a designer.
  • She earlier called for a ban on Joyland and spoke against the transgender problem.
  • Maria B intervened and voiced her disapproval of Sar e Rah’s new episode.

Over the years, the name Maria B has become well-known as a designer. People are aware of her collections, designs, and strong opinions on a variety of subjects that she presents on social media. Due to her comments on the movie Joyland and the supposed propagation of LGBTQ ideals in Pakistan through the media and social media, she has recently been involved in public fights. She earlier called for a ban on Joyland and has subsequently been speaking out strongly against the transgender problem.

In a recent episode of Sar e Rah, Muneeb Butt is depicted as being intersex, and how his father, played by Nabeel Zafar, is very sensitive to situations, which helps him achieve his goals. Yet a drama clip that was taken out of context and went viral gave the impression that Nabeel was indoctrinating the youngster with trans ideas.

Maria B intervened and voiced her disapproval of the video on Instagram:

The way Maria ripped things out of context before calling it propaganda infuriated several people. They also urged her to watch the programme first and to treat members of this gender with more respect. What the internet has to say is as follows:

It has been a long time coming, but it looks that Pakistani dramas are finally catching up with the times and beginning to develop stories that reflect the lives and struggles of Pakistani women and intersex people. We are excited to see what the next episode holds for its viewers.

Faysal Quraishi’s criticism on Maria B makes people unhappy

  • In Kuch Ankahi, a poster of Joyland was seen in the backdrop of a scene.
  • Maria B pointed it out as subliminal promotion of the LGBTQ agenda.
  • Faysal Quraishi says It is a Pakistani movie therefore advertising it is acceptable.

In the drama Kuch Ankahi, a poster for Joyland was recently spotted in the backdrop of a scene in which Sajal Aly was standing in the front. Maria B pointed this out as a subliminal promotion of the LGBTQ agenda. She declared that she will continue to advocate for intersex people while refusing to let the transgender agenda overshadow the true intersex community and its struggles.

When analysing the programme, Faysal Quraishi called Maria B out on her fury and asked, “What does she want us to place Pathaan posters in the drama?” It is a Pakistani movie, he claimed, therefore advertising it is acceptable.

People are unhappy with Faysal Quraishi’s position and claim that Maria B is not speaking out against a movie but rather, as she puts it, against the transgender agenda. What was said on the internet was as follows:

In recent days, Maria B has been outspoken about her opinions regarding the promotion of LGBTQ people in the nation. She was vehemently opposed to Joyland and requested that Pakistan outlaw the movie. Maria B has expressed her opinions, saying that while she respects the rights of intersex persons, she cannot accept the advancement of the LGBTQ agenda in a country that practises Islam.

The film Joyland was first outlawed in all of Pakistan but was eventually made legal everywhere else, with the exception of Punjab, after it was charged with promoting the LGBTQ agenda there. The movie was nominated for an Oscar and won big at the Cannes Film Festival, but it didn’t make the final list of nominees.

Maria B is speaking out against those who think it’s acceptable to alter their gender if it makes them uncomfortable. She is also protesting scrapfest with a louder voice. She recently published a number of anti-LGBTQ pieces, one of which was about the television programme Kuch An Kahi. She commented,“ We also have dramas promoting joyland/transgenders subliminally. WE ARE NOT STUPID WE GET IT. WAKE UP PAKISTAN… AND SEE THE NEW AGENDA IC. Rather than trying to save pakistan, we are selling our religious identity.

Take a look!

Designer Maria B has been outspoken regarding the LGBTQ community and is clear in her belief that it is a foreign agenda harming the Muslim Ummah. Since Maria B stated that the transgenders’ bill was exploiting the intersex population and promoting LGBTQ, she is the one who stood her ground when it was passed.
