The song Naatu Naatu from Jr. NTR’s epic period action film RRR is up for “Best Original Song” at the 95th Academy Awards, which will be held in the US this year. At a cafe in Beverly Hills recently, the actor ran upon Emily in Paris actor Lucien Laviscount. Sources claim that Lucien couldn’t help but gush about RRR and especially loved Jr NTR’s tiger chase scene in the movie.
RRR by SS Rajamouli is already well-known all over the world. MM Keeravani composed Naatu Naatu, which has been nominated in the Best Original Song category. Jr. NTR and Ram Charan appear in the song. At the Oscars in 2023, Lauren Gottlieb, a Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa season 6 runner-up, will perform it. The award presentation occurs on March 12. (March 13 in India). RRR is the first Indian movie to be nominated for an Oscar Award in more than 20 years. The first Indian song to receive an Oscar nomination is Naatu Naatu.
According to a source quoted in the Free Press Journal article, Lucien was able to recognize Jr. NTR right away and approached him to say hello. He also sent the actor his congratulations on RRR’s enormous success and accomplishments. Lucien was interested to learn how Jr. NTR shot the intermission sequence with animals as they continued their discussion of the movie. He has nothing but appreciation for the RRR actor and his work in the movie. Even more, Jr. NTR reposted a selfie of the two of them that Lucien had posted to his Instagram Stories with the comment, “Lucien never drive again!” Moreover, Jr NTR shared a another image of himself and Lucien on his Instagram Stories.
The movie has already won multiple awards on a global scale, including this year’s Critics Choice Awards and Golden Globes for best song. RRR centers on two real-life Indian rebels from the 1920s: Alluri Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Jr NTR). The story takes place before India’s independence. Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, and Alia Bhatt all have significant parts in the movie. Los Angeles will host the Oscars ceremony.
