The third season of Netflix’s Emily in Paris did not go well for Lucien Laviscount’s portrayal of the English heartthrob, as he dumped Emily Cooper (Lily Collins) after learning of her true emotions for Gabriel (Lucas Bravo).

But based on Lucien’s own words, that doesn’t necessarily mean Alfie is gone forever.

“It would be great to come back,” the actor exclusively told at the show’s Dec. 15 premiere in New York City. “But honestly I think I’ve had a really, really incredible two seasons on this show. It’s been really special.”

So you’re saying there’s a chance!

Although Lucien said he doesn’t envision Alfie crawling at Emily’s feet begging her to pick him, insisting, “She might have to pull something out of the bag to get the main man back.”

Lucien is hopeful that a season four return would further flesh out Alfie’s journey. “Season two Alfie had this little cloud over his head,” he said. “He was hating on life. Season three he gets his vulnerable side.”

So, what would a potential season four storyline look like?

Lucien joked that it would be all about “revenge” and seeing Alfie’s “sick, twisted side.”

Color us intrigued.

Inevitably, though, Lucien couldn’t help but connect it all back to Emily when asked who would make an ideal partner for the now-single Alfie.

“Driven, someone who sees the good in things,” Lucien said. “Emily Cooper. She needs to get her s–t together.”

We’ll believe it when we see it!
