8 people including ASI injured in terrorists attack in North Waziristan

PESHAWAR: As many as eight people sustained injuries when unidentified terrorists attacked the house of Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Ameenullah in North Waziristan.

As per details, a group of terrorists attacked the house of a policeman in the Danday Syedkhel area of North Waziristan. The family of the ASI bravely fought the terrorists and forced them to flee.

In the exchange of fire with the terrorists’  eight people including women and ASI Ameenullah got injured.

The injured were moved to the nearby hospital.

On the other hand, city police night foiled a terror attack at law enforcers at Gomal Bazar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) Tank city.

According to details, some police officials in KP’s Tank came under a gun attack by a group of heavily armed terrorists. However, police claimed that the attack had been foiled by responding befittingly.

In the statement, the law enforcers stated no casualties occurred during the exchange of fire while an operation has been launched in the area to arrest the suspects.

Kate Winslet was taken to the hospital after an accident occurred when she was filming the historical drama “Lee” in Croatia.

The performer slipped while filming the lead part in the Kupari village, breaking her leg. According to the publication, she was driven in a black vehicle 15 minutes to the Dubrovnik Hospital.

The 46-year-old actor was sent to the hospital as a precaution to make sure she was okay, according to Winslet’s representatives, who verified this to The Hollywood Reporter. As planned, she will start filming again this week.

“Kate slipped and was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure required by the production,” her team said. “She is fine and will be filming, as planned, this week.”

Since 2015, Winslet has been rumoured to be playing World War II correspondent Lee Miller in the movie Lee. Jude Law, Andrea Riseborough, Josh O’Conner, Mario Cotillard, and Ellen Kuras also appear in the historical drama about the Vogue cover model-turned-photographer.

Ruby Barker, of Bridgerton fame, recently stated on social media that she had been released from hospital following a “mental health struggle.”

The 25-year-old took to Instagram on Monday to share a touching video of herself speaking from a pool at a nature retreat.

Although Barker previously admitted to “feeling terribly sick since participating in the series,” the actress, who plays Marina Thompson in season one of the famous series, informed her fans that she is “doing good for herself.”

In a candid video, the actress mentioned, “I am in a beautiful environment right now to take some time to myself and relax and breathe.”

She went on to add, “Getting outdoors, going for walks, speaking to loved ones, trying not to ostracise yourself, that’s a really big step.”

Barker said that if she had to give her younger self any advice, it would be “not all doom and gloom even when you hit rock bottom”.

“Anyone who is in a dark place right now I just want you to know I see you; I feel you, okay, but find funny and flip that coin,” stated the actress.

Meanwhile, captioning the video, she wrote, “I have been discharged from hospital! Thank you so much for the support, I can’t wait for the future and I feel as if I’ve came out the other side.”
