King Charles requested that Elton John perform at his coronation, but the legendary singer was unable to do so due to prior commitments.

According to The Sun, “Elton John was top of Charles’ list but due to his European tour, which sees him performing in Germany the Friday before then again soon after the Windsor concert, he isn’t able to make the dash to the UK work.

Along with the Rocket Man singer, the Spice Girls and Harry Styles were all invited but declined due to other commitments. Furthermore, Ed Sheeran, Adele, and Robbie Williams declined the invitation for similar reasons.

The concert is set to take place at Windsor Castle on Sunday, May 7th, 2023, with a slew of celebrities performing.

Take That, on the other hand, are said to be joining a star-studded lineup that includes Kylie and Dannii Minogue.

According to The Sun, the iconic boyband, now comprised of Gary Barlow, 52, Mark Owen, 51, and Howard Donald, 54, will headline the event at Windsor Castle in May.

Furthermore, Dance With Me Tonight hitmaker Olly Murs is in talks to join the concert’s headliners.

According to the source of the outlet, “Olly has such stage presence and a huge fanbase, he’d be a great addition.”

The coronation of King Charles is scheduled for Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Westminster Abbey.

Elton John is a British singer, pianist, and composer. Commonly nicknamed the Rocket Man after his 1972.

Elton John is getting ready for a White House performance.  The “Rocket Man” singer will perform at an event on the South Lawn on Friday called “A Night When Hope and History Rhyme.”

The invitations were sent out recently, and the outlet says that guests will have to get tested for COVID-19 before they can go.

Rolling Stone said that John’s performance was announced after James Taylor sang at the White House this week to start the party for the passage of President Joe Biden’s 2022 Inflation Reduction Act. Taylor’s performance was the first part of the celebration for the act.

The event is one of the things that can be done again at the White House now that COVID-19 restrictions have been eased. In December, Andrea Bocelli, Matteo Bocelli, Virginia Bocelli, Camila Cabello, Eric Church, the Jonas Brothers, Norah Jones, Pentatonix, and Billy Porter all performed at a pre-recorded event called “In Performance at the White House.”

John, who is 75 years old, has been on his farewell tour for months and will keep performing around the world well into next year.

John told Fleur East on the Hits Radio Breakfast show earlier this month that he will take a break when his Farewell Yellow Brick tour ends for good in Sweden in July 2023.

“After next year when I finish in Stockholm, I’ll go on a bit of a hiatus and figure out what I’m going to do next,” he said.

John may still be figuring out what comes next, but he already has an idea of what 2023 will look like. A documentary called Goodbye Yellow Brick Road: The Final Elton John Performances and the Years That Made His Legend will be released on Disney+, and the star has also announced that he’ll be in a play about the lives of Tammy Faye Messner and her first husband, Jim Bakker. Tammy Faye will have its first performance at London’s Almeida Theatre in October.

Queen Elizabeth died on Thursday at the age of 96 at Balmoral Castle in Scotland.

“She led the country through some of our greatest and darkest moments with grace and decency and genuine caring,” John said.

“I’m 75, and she’s been with me all my life, and I feel very sad that she won’t be with me anymore, but I’m glad she’s at peace,” he said. “I’m glad she’s at rest, and she deserves it. She worked bloody hard.”

Elton John paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth during his Toronto show Thursday night after her death was publicly announced.

Following his address, John performed “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me.”

The show was the second of two nights in Toronto’s Rogers Centre, and it was part of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, which was billed as his final tour.

The queen knighted John in 1998, a year after his friend Princess Diana died. Last year, Prince Charles appointed the musician and charity patron to the Order of the Companions of Honor.

The “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” singer also shared a tribute to Queen Elizabeth on his social media account after the royal family publicly announced her death.

“Along with the rest of the nation, I am deeply saddened to hear the news of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s passing.

“She was an inspiring presence to be around, and led the country through some of our greatest and darkest moments with grace, decency and a genuine caring warmth.

“Queen Elizabeth has been a huge part of my life from childhood to this day, and I will miss her dearly,” he concluded.

Queen Elizabeth II was predeceased by her husband, Prince Philip, who supported the monarch for more than seven decades.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Britain’s longest-serving consort, died at the age of 99 in April 2021. Elizabeth and Philip had four children during their 70-year marriage: Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward.

Elizabeth was the most travelled British head of state and the longest-married British monarch when she died. She had reigned for the longest period of time in British history, becoming a well-loved and revered figure over her decades-long reign. She will celebrate her 70th year on the throne on February 6, 2022, with the Platinum Jubilee in June.

The foundation’s rep tweets, “In the four years since Elton John and Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex launched Men Star at #AIDS2018, we’re proud to announce that the coalition of partners have trebled our initial goal and enabled three million men to start lifesaving HIV treatment.”

“95 per cent of these men are now virally suppressed meaning they can’t pass the virus on!”

“Men Star has given us invaluable insight into the barriers to HIV treatment for men and will help inform future strategies on reaching the most vulnerable communities.”

One royal fan responded to the proud announcement by writing “This is the power of H&M.”

“Prince Harry is involved with all things good and positive,” another fan replied.

Previously, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who is thought to be in urgent need of money to live the life of their dreams in the United States, have another surprise in store for the Royal Family.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are working on several projects about their lives, but Harry’s planned book, which may include some Meghan input, maybe a stomach hit the Royal Family does not need.
