1505 people contracted coronavirus in Sindh on 9th January, 2021

Coronavirus cases are rapidly increasing in Sindh as on Saturday 1505 new cases were reported in the province.

According to the details, the coronavirus cases have emerged more than 50 percent than those diagnosed just a day ago. CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah told that the deadly virus took the life of 14 people today.

He shared that 14,572 new samples were tested today which means the 10 percent positivity ratio has increased in Sindh.

Moreover, the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) statistics have shown that during the last 24 hours, the deadly virus has claimed 40 more lives, whereas, 2,007 more people contracted the virus across the country.

The death toll has reached 10,598, however, 1,617 patients have recovered from the novel virus in a day and 2,266 patients are in critical condition.

The active cases in Pakistan in 33,474.

Saudi Arabia to lift travel ban by the end of March 2021

Saudi Arabia to lift travel ban

On Friday, Saudi Arabia’s interior ministry has decided to lift the temporary travel ban by the end of March which was imposed to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus.

According to the details, the decision will come into force on March 31ss, 2021, however, it will have certain measures.

The Saudi citizens will be allowed to travel anywhere outside the Kingdom and return easily when the ban eases, said the KSA interior ministry.

Another Pakistani celebrity has become the prey of the deadly coronavirus. The Parchi actor, Ali Rehman has also tested for coronavirus and updated his fans on Instagram. 

Ali Rehman took to his Instagram account and uploaded a photo sharing the details regarding his health. The actor wrote,

“Despite being super careful and taking all precautions, I have unfortunately tested positive for COVID-19. I have informed everyone that I have come in contact with and Alhamdulillah they are all safe.”

He requested all of his fans and followers to pray for his health and speedy recovery.

“Please keep me in your prayers and thoughts. Wear a mask and follow all SOPs for yourself  and for those around you.”

Earlier, Pakistani actresses Mahira Khan and Neelum Munir contracted the novel virus and requested everyone to be safe and to follow all the SOPs.

Keep wearing the mask, act may protect you and others, urges Sana Mir

Former Pakistani women cricketer Sana Mir confirmed that she has contracted the novel coronavirus and urged people to wear masks and to follow all the SOPs.

Taking to her Twitter account, Mir wrote,

“Thank you for all your wishes and prayers for my birthday and recovery. I have tested positive and only have mild symptoms for now. Informed the people who were in close contact, all are negative till now Alhamdulillah. Keep wearing the mask, the act may protect you and others.”

The off-spinner is the leading wicket-taker for Pakistan in ODIs and second-highest behind Nida Dar in T20Is.

Mir also became the world’s top-ranked bowler for one-day internationals (ODIs); and the top wicket-taker for spinners ever among women in ODIs.
