Weather update: Temperature to drop to 7 degrees Celsius in Karachi

Due to Siberian winds, the weather has become colder and the temperature in Karachi is likely to drop to 7 degrees Celsius.

According to the details, cold is prevailing in the city of lights. Due to Siberian winds, the intensity of cold in the city has further increased today. The minimum temperature of the city was recorded at 8 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department said that the current cold wave will continue for a few more days while the temperature is likely to drop to seven degrees in the next 24 hours.

The Meteorological Department further said that the minimum temperature was recorded at 8 degrees Celsius today while the current temperature was recorded at 10 degrees Celsius.

As per details, the maximum temperature in the city will reach 23 degrees Celsius today.

It should be noted that the wind speed was recorded at six to eight kilometers per hour while the air humidity was recorded at 53 percent today.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department said on Wednesday that Karachi will experience dry weather over the next 24 hours with cold winds and a chilly night.

A minimum temperature of 11 degrees Celsius was recorded by the MET department with 59% humidity.

According to the details, the temperature in the metropolis is expected to fall even further as the weather of the port city is influence by Quetta’s severe cold weather.

The PMD said that Northeast winds at a speed of 18 kilometers per hour are blowing in Karachi.

It should be mentioned here that on Tuesday, the temperature in Quetta fell to -9 degrees Celsius and many cities across Balochistan have been gripped in cold since the beginning of December.

On Tuesday, the met officials said Kalat recorded -11 degrees Celsius, Sibi 6 degrees Celsius while Turbat and Gwadar experienced 9 degrees Celsius.
