  • Dorset Council shares video, emphasizes ongoing rockfall and landslip risks
  • South West Coast Path temporarily closed for safety near the cliff

A shocking incident has left social media users astounded, as a group of tourists narrowly avoided a perilous situation when a section of a 150-foot-high cliff in West Bay, Dorset, UK, crumbled. The incident was captured in a rapidly spreading video on social media platforms.

The Dorset Council went as far as sharing the video on its official Twitter account, highlighting the constant risk of rockfalls and landslips in the area. In response to safety concerns, the council has temporarily closed the South West Coast Path near the cliff. Luckily, observant beachgoers noticed the cliff’s collapse and managed to flee to safety just in the nick of time.

In the video, a man wearing an orange t-shirt can be seen capturing a photo of the World Heritage Site when small rocks suddenly begin to tumble. Eventually, a substantial portion of the cliff detaches and descends into the sea. Fortunately, the people present were unharmed as they witnessed the debris plummet into the water.

The incident left social media users in disbelief, with a few expressing their frustration over individuals disregarding cautionary indicators. The cliff, recognized as the “Golden Gateway” of the Jurassic Coast, spans miles and poses significant hazards. This event serves as a poignant reminder of the potential risks associated with these cliffs.

  • Restaurant staff in the US surprised their elderly colleague, Leo, with a birthday cake.
  • The video of the surprise has gone viral on social media.
  • The video has been viewed over 150,000 times and has been shared widely on social media.

A heartwarming video from a US restaurant, Big E’s Sports Grill in Michigan, has captured the hearts of internet users. In the touching clip, restaurant staff surprised their beloved colleague, Leo, on his birthday with a huge cake.

Approaching Leo’s workstation, his colleagues began singing the heartfelt rendition of ‘Happy Birthday,’ leaving him visibly surprised and deeply touched, even bringing tears to his eyes.

The heartwarming display of camaraderie and celebration among co-workers quickly gained popularity, receiving over 150,000 likes after being featured on the renowned Instagram account, @goodnews_movement.

Viewers of the touching video couldn’t help but notice Leo’s age as he diligently worked as a dishwasher, despite being an elderly individual. This brought attention to the issue of inadequate state support, which often forces older individuals to take up minimum-wage jobs to make ends meet.

Despite the challenges highlighted, the video’s uplifting and compassionate message resonated with people all over the internet, spreading joy and kindness in the process.

Echoing this sentiment, a Twitter user wrote, “It’s loneliness and neglect. Add to that having to keep working at that age. A hair of appreciation and love moved him to tears. We really have to do better for the elderly in the US.”

An Instagram user wrote, “Man dishwashers are the hardest working people! And often get forgotten in the pit! Love to see this!!”.

Another person wrote, “If I could change one thing about the US it would be for people/govt to have a heart change and truly protect our children and our elderly. This man is too old to be doing this and is likely lonely. Everyone deserves love”.

Woman finds doppelganger and kill her to fake her own death

doppelganger
  • To fake her death, a lady searched social media for her doppelganger.
  • Germany’s Mercedes was where a 23-year-old woman’s blood-soaked.
  • Police initially thought that the body belongs to  Sharaban K.

In order to fake her own death, a lady reportedly searched social media for her doppelganger before killing her.

Ingolstadt, Germany’s Mercedes was where a 23-year-old woman’s blood-soaked, brutally dismembered body was discovered in August.

Police initially thought that the body belongs to  Sharaban K, a beautician of Iraqi origin (whose last name is being kept in accordance with German privacy rules).

However, following DNA analysis, it was discovered that Khadidja O, an Algerian beauty blogger, was the person who had been brutally murdered and then photographed doing so in the front seat of a car in a residential area of the Bavarian city rather than in Sharaban.

Khadidja, who was 23 as well, hails from the nearby state of Baden-Württemberg.

According to police, the two ladies had “striking similarities,” including straight jet-black hair, similar skin tones, and thick makeup on their faces.

The murder was referred to as the “doppelganger murder” by German media.

On August 19 of last year, Sharaban and a 23-year-old Kosovan man named Sheqir were taken into custody by the Bavarian police.

They formally revealed the case’s alleged purpose this past week.

Veronika Grieser, an employee of the Ingolstadt state prosecutor, stated yesterday, “Investigations have led us to infer that the accused wanted to go into hiding because of a family disagreement and fake her own death to that effect.”

In the week prior to the murder, Sharaban made contact with a number of women that resembled her, according to the police investigation.

She is alleged to have used multiple names to secure the meetings by making “various promises,” but she was “initially unsuccessful.”

Khadidja eventually consented to a meeting nonetheless.

According to local media, she was allegedly persuaded into the meeting after being handed cosmetics.

Sheqir and Sharaban then drove to pick her up from her residence and brought her to a section of woods.

There, they allegedly made a reason for the woman to get out of the car before fatally stabbing her.

Despite the fact that the murder weapon has not been located, the “evidence is overwhelming,” according to police spokesperson Andreas Aichele to Bild.

Mr Aichele continued, “The deceased was killed with almost 50 knife thrusts, the face completely deformed.

The two drove Khadidja’s corpse to a calm residential neighbourhood with her body in the backseat.

The body was eventually found by Sharaban’s parents before midnight on August 16, 2022.
