Elon Musk unbans Kanye West, Andrew Tate’s Twitter accounts

Elon Musk

Elon Musk has added two more grounds of contention to the raging fire that has been Twitter since his takeover. Musk unbanned Kanye West (now Ye) and Andrew Tate’s Twitter accounts shortly after reinstating Donald Trump’s. “Testing… Testing… Seeing if my Twitter is unblocked” Kanye posted a tweet. Musk answer, “Don’t kill what ye hate… Save what ye love”. Tate, on the other side, wrote, “I’ve decided to fly to the failed state of California, walk into twitter HQ and tell @elonmusk he’s a legend. On my way.”

Kanye’s account was suspended in October after he tweeted about going “death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE.” Tate, who has been heavily chastised for his fiery and misogynistic Internet remarks, was banned from Twitter in 2017. Earlier this year, he was also banned from Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Jordan Peterson, Kathy Griffin, and Babylon Bee were among those whose Twitter accounts were restored.

Kanye West and Andrew Tate’s comeback, both of whom have experienced enormous flak in recent months, sparked outrage among Twitter users.

Meanwhile, Musk keeps tweeting memes.

Elon Musk madness threatens Twitter’s existence: Expert

Elon Musk

Elon Musk, the new Twitter specialist, may have accidentally deleted the social media app, according to a tech expert.

Musk completed his £37 billion buyout of the site last month, and has since fired hundreds of employees and ordered those who remain to “refine” the way the site and its apps work.

However, earlier this week, he was mocked for shutting off all of the Android app’s “micro services,” effectively killing the most widely used method of secure login – Two Factor Authentication.

Normally, a user would receive a text message with a code to enter when login onto the site for the first time or in a new location, but shutting off the micro services meant that the system Twitter uses to send out the codes was turned off.

This meant that millions of people would be unable to access their own accounts if they logged out.

It also corresponds with Musk’s alteration of the verification mechanism, as well as the addition, removal, and re-addition of a “official” label to specific accounts.

According to a top IT expert, the “entire tech industry” is waiting for Tesla’s founder to “incidentally” delete the entire site.

Speaking to the Daily Star while keeping anonymous for fear of being tracked down by “Musk’s army of trolls,” they stated, “This is becoming utter madness.”

“He’s experimenting with the site in real-time, but has no actual clue what he’s doing – and he’s sacked those who did.”

“There is a very real chance that all of this tinkering is going to end up with him deleting the website by mistake with no chance of being able to get it back.”

“Musk in genuinely threatening the very existence of the social media site, which some people in certain countries rely on as a lifeline for vital information – such as in times of war, or in countries where access to free media is limited.”

“The entire technology community is sitting back, waiting for him to f*** this up so badly, and it will happen at some point.”

Elon Musk insulted Twitter with ‘space Karen’

Elon Musk

Insults were flung at Elon Musk through a projector outside Twitter’s headquarters, with him being referred to as everything from a “space Karen” to a “dictator’s a**kisser.”

Hundreds of Twitter employees are said to have resigned after the billionaire asked that they work “long hours at high intensity” or leave by Thursday (November 17).

In reaction to the ultimatum, white lettering was seen scrolling down the exterior of the structure, criticising Musk’s behaviour since assuming control of the social media network on October 27, 2022.

“Elon Musk: supreme parasite, pollutant pimple, apartheid profiteer, dictator’s a**kisser, lawless oligarch, insecure coloniser, cruel hoarder, space Karen, mediocre manchild, pressurised privilege, petty racist, megalomaniac,” it said.

Fredrick Joseph said in the video, which has over 85,000 likes, “Twitter HQ tonight as hundreds of employees quit because of Elon.”

TikTok fans were in stitches after seeing the video, which was published with the phrase “Welp, Elon…” and Taylor Swift’s song Anti-Hero.

“Space Karen was what got me,” one user added.

“Rich kid buys an expensive toy, breaks it weeks later…,” said another.

“”I like to think each employee got to pick out their own name for him,” said a third.

“Everyone talking about Space Karen but Mediocre Manchild really hits for me,” wrote a fourth.

More employees are leaving after Musk fired half of the workers, including top management, immediately after taking over and continues to make changes to the work environment.

Musk, on the other hand, appears unfazed by the mass resignations, tweeting later that evening, “the best people are staying.”

However, one employee said that the billionaire had met with some of the quitting employees earlier that day in an attempt to persuade them to stay.

Musk says Twitter function wastage of screen space, will end soon

Twitter function

In another development, Musk tweeted “Twitter is All the News,” followed by “By the People, For the People.” Since his takeover of the media behemoth, Twitter has experienced a slew of changes, with more to come.

Elon Musk, Twitter’s new owner, has stated that the microblogging platform will soon discontinue mentioning “what device a tweet was written on.”

Musk remarked in a Twitter discussion about how slow the app is in some regions, “And we will finally stop adding what device a tweet was written on (waste of screen space and compute) below every tweet. Literally no one even knows why we did that …”

Previously, the 51-year-old billionaire tweeted how long it takes for a Twitter feed to load and refresh in various nations. “Same app in US takes ~2 secs to refresh (too long), but ~20 secs in India, due to bad batching/verbose comms. Actually useful data transferred is low,” he stated.

And we will finally stop including the device on which a tweet was written (a waste of screen space and compute) below each tweet. Nobody knows what we were thinking…

Musk responded to an Indian user named Abhishek Prakash, who acknowledged that Twitter is slow in India and pointed out that the typical load time is 10-15 seconds, by writing, “In some parts of the world, refresh takes 30 seconds.”

Since taking over the social media network, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has been tweeting and commenting to user postings on a regular basis.

In another development, Musk tweeted “Twitter is All the News,” followed by “By the People, For the People.” Since his takeover of the media behemoth, Twitter has experienced a slew of changes, with more to come. Twitter blue tick verification, which was previously free, is now $8 per month. It costs 719 rupees per month, or slightly more than $8, for Indian consumers.

Twitter worker puked after Elon Musk told him to terminate people

Twitter manager puked in a bin after new owner Elon Musk tasked him with terminating scores of staff. According to experts.

Musk, 51, recently completed his multibillion-dollar buyout of the microblogging service, and the hype surrounding the new ownership hasn’t subsided.

According to the New York Times, Musk’s harsh plan to fire thousands of people, despite the possibility of legal repercussions, caused one employee to become physically ill.

According to the title, they heard a recording in which Musk mentions a “massive negative cash flow” and adds that “bankruptcy is not out of the question,” thus individuals need to be sliced.

According to accounts, Twitter managers were first advised to eliminate 25% of their workforce. This was later alleged to have increased to half of the workforce, and then to 7,500 employees.

The title also suggested that the uncertainty caused by the Tesla CEO’s entrance at the San Francisco headquarters in late October moved some staff to tears.

Others were subjected to physical harm. Musk’s advisers, or “goons,” as Twitter employees dubbed them, ordered one engineering manager to fire hundreds of individuals.

He allegedly puked into a trash can at his feet.

Twitter’s platform and infrastructure organisation lost around 80% of its engineering employees, raising concerns about the site’s capacity to stay afloat if there were technical challenges, according to the New York Times.

The Federal Trade Commission, which enforces federal consumer protection laws to prevent fraud, deception, and unfair business practices, said it was monitoring Twitter’s developments with “deep concern” and that “no CEO or company is above the law.”

Elon Musk thinks he has built an AI-powered future and we’re in it

Elon Musk

In response to a Twitter user’s idea that Elon Musk utilises the site to construct a digital replica of our personality in a “digital afterlife,” the social network’s new owner answered cryptically, “maybe we’re already in it.”

Several experts have commented on how tech billionaires appear to be obsessed with immortality, whether through biohacking or uploading their consciousness into a “Matrix”-style metaverse.

PayPal founder Peter Thiel has stated that immortality is not an impossibility, saying in 2012, “Death is a problem that can be solved.”

Ray Kurzweil, Google’s director of engineering, predicted a future in which technology such as Elon Musk’s Neuralink allows us to upload ourselves into machines: “We’re going to become increasingly non-biological to the point where the non-biological part dominates, and the biological part is not important any more.”

“In fact,” Kurzweil continues, “the non-biological part – the machine part – will be so powerful it can completely model and understand the biological part.”

However, Rami Kaminski of The Institute of Integrative Psychiatry believes the billionaires’ desire for endless life is “juvenile.”

“You may go to Mars,” he says, “but you cannot go out into the solar system.”He claims that the internet billionaires have a “limited” perspective on life, “What they’re trying to do is get away from the mortal coil. Every day when you look in the mirror you are reminded you are made of carbon. It is degrading and has to be recycled.”

In a lengthy Twitter thread last month, American data scientist Emily Gorcenski prophesied a future in which the human species will be separated into “digital” personalities living on computer servers and a labour class maintaining the computer infrastructure in a wrecked physical world.

“To comprehend the Metaverse means you have to realise that affluent techno nerds actually believe they will be able to upload their consciousness before they die,” she says of Jeff Bezos’ Metaverse.

“The Metaverse isn’t being built to revolutionise remote working. It’s being built because they need to believe they can build heaven.”

But, as she argues, that’s a difficult concept to sell, thus the predominant conversation in the Metaverse revolves around business and remote working. Nobody, she said, requested virtual reality business meetings.

Emily adds that even if the digital afterlife is effectively developed, we won’t be able to take benefit of it completely.

“The servers that run the metaverse…have be physical. They require power as well as spare parts. They are brittle. As a result, people—mortals—need to keep them alive.”

“In the Metaversal future, there will be a class of mortals tasked with the upkeep of the gods’ heaven.”

“There are a *lot* of people who would be deeply offended by the idea of a synthetic heaven. A lot of people who would be violent to stop it.,” she continues. There are many people who would resort to violence to halt it.
