“How to delete Twitter” searches have increased 500% after Elon Musk took over Twitter. According to Daily Mail, VPNOverview used Google Trends data to show that between October 24 and October 31, requests for “Boycott Twitter” and “Delete Twitter” increased considerably.
“Boycott Twitter” searches increased 4,800% between October 26 and November 2.
Musk’s $44 billion Twitter buyout, announced in April, appears unfavourable. On October 27, “Chief Twit” acquired the social media company.
Twitter was criticised for allegedly requiring its staff to work 12 hours a day, seven days a week to execute revolutionary verification upgrades.
Musk added, “Twitter’s current lords & peasants system for who has or doesn’t have a blue checkmark is b******t,” after revealing that people will be paying $8 a month for blue tick verification.
The current authentication method helps users identify influential and authentic Twitter users, including sportspeople, entertainers, public officials, journalists, and large companies.
Before Twitter’s new billionaire owner disclosed his ambitions to overhaul the service, some celebs had hinted at leaving.

VPNOverview privacy expert Naj Ahmed said such modifications are “unlikely” to happen quickly.
