Pakistani actress Zara Noor Abbas has responded to backlash over her recent outfit—a simple pants and shirt combination—after posting photos on Instagram.

Critics took to social media, labeling her attire as “inappropriate” and suggesting she was an “overage woman trying to be young.” Some went so far as to claim she lacked a sense of style and advised her to dress more modestly.

In defiance of the criticism, the “Parey Hut Love” star did not hold back. When one user commented, “You have no dressing sense,” she fired back with, “just because you are in a box of conventional experiences, doesn’t mean I have to be in the room too.” Another user ridiculed her for not pinning her dress properly; in response, Abbas encouraged the critic to “change their own thinking and mindset, rather than focusing on my attire.” 

Her witty comebacks quickly gained traction online, earning her praise from fans who support her stance against body shaming and fashion policing. Many celebrated her confidence and ability to challenge societal norms regarding appearance.
