Mishi Khan, a vocal Pakistani artist known for her acting, hosting, and outspoken commentary, has once again made headlines. The Aroosa and Landa Bazaar star, who has been hosting a morning show on K2 TV for nearly 13 years, is famous for raising her voice on political, religious, and social issues and for calling out celebrities for inappropriate behavior.
This time, Mishi Khan aimed at singer Jawad Ahmed after he criticized Senator Mushtaq Ahmed, the only Pakistani who joined the Freedom Flotilla carrying aid to Gaza. Jawad had called the senator’s participation a “publicity stunt,” which drew heavy backlash from the public.
Responding to his remarks, Mishi Khan released a video slamming Jawad Ahmed. She said, “There’s a limit to everything! I tried to ignore this bonga singer, Jawad Ahmed, who keeps talking nonsense in front of the mic. Who is he to speak against Senator Mushtaq, claiming his Gaza mission was a publicity stunt? You did the same all your life — sang for fame and money! What have you contributed other than chasing public attention? You even stole electricity for your wife’s beauty parlour and spent your career singing for dollars, wearing that one old black suit that tore apart during a Minar-e-Pakistan event when you fell in the middle of the tables! You’ve gone mad with your hatred for Imran Khan.”
