Sharing her perspective, Saima Qureshi said that after a girl gets married, her mother should avoid being overly involved in her marital issues. “Don’t pamper her too much or push her to leave home over small problems,” she explained. However, she made it clear that mothers must always stand by their daughters if they face abuse or violence. “But if it’s just conflicts with in-laws, the mother should encourage patience rather than pushing for separation,” she added.
