According to an anonymous source from DeuxMoi, the troubles in their marriage may have originated from Gomez’s alleged involvement with other women months before their relationship came to an end. The real-estate agent attended a Hollywood party, trying to keep a low profile while not portraying himself as a married man.

The source shared, “I attended an event where there were a bunch of celebrities. Dalton was there, but he was being low-key (was wearing a hat, shades). He clearly didn’t want to be recognized, but made it obvious with his disguise.”

The source further claimed that Gomez was seen surrounded by multiple women, seemingly enjoying their company and not behaving like a married man.

“[Dalton Gomez] had girls literally SURROUNDING him. Not kidding. He had his own cabana with his friends, and he was not acting married.”

In response to this situation, the source’s intoxicated friend confronted Gomez about his marriage to Ariana Grande, but he allegedly denied knowing her.

“So my drunk friend wanted to call him out on it. She approached him, and said ‘Do you know who Ariana Grande is?’ He literally said, ‘Never heard of her before.’ So my friend said, ‘Well you should, that’s your WIFE!!!”‘ He seemed startled, fearing he had been recognized or caught, and quickly left the party.”

Following this incident, Gomez reportedly deactivated his Instagram account, and it has remained deactivated since then.

After overcoming behind-the-scenes drama with the censor board, Amit Rai’s much-awaited OMG 2, featuring Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Yami Gautam, is all set to hit the theaters on August 11, 2023. The film’s advance bookings opened recently, and the initial response has surpassed expectations, thanks to a well-cut teaser and the franchise’s popularity, driving the movement in national chains.

As of Thursday, 10 PM, OMG 2 has secured 3200 advance bookings in three major national chains – PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis. Additionally, MovieMax chain added another 100 bookings, bringing the total to 3300 tickets. Although these numbers might seem modest compared to past blockbusters like Gadar, they are promising enough to ensure a decent initial box-office performance. Earlier concerns about OMG 2 following the fate of Selfiee have been eased by the positive trend in advance bookings, indicating a much stronger opening day performance than Selfiee. The film’s ultimate goal is to approach the success of its predecessor, Oh My God, or even surpass it in the long run.

The word-of-mouth response will be crucial for OMG 2’s success beyond the opening day. While it may not directly compete with Gadar, the film will aim to match or exceed the performance of Oh My God. The release strategy for OMG 2 is focused on multiplexes, with an estimated 1500 screens to showcase the movie.

Expectations are high for OMG 2 to achieve its biggest day since its release on August 15. Such a milestone would indicate a positive reception from the target audience, making it a successful venture for Akshay Kumar and the team. The advance booking movement has been more promising compared to Akshay Kumar’s recent films, and a consistent trend is projected to drive ticket sales in the range of 35,000 to 45,000 across the three major chains. He shared, “I went too far in Emancipation.” The actor revealed that even the thought of his character made him “teary-eyed,” stating, “Just bringing it up, I start to get teary.” Emancipation, directed by Antoine Fuqua, is based on the true story of a man who “escaped slavery,” inspired by the famous 1863 photo of Whipped Peter.

Smith admitted that he wanted to deeply feel the degradation of slavery, and he felt he went too far into the character. He expressed his emotions during the filming, saying, “I wanted to feel the degradation of slavery, and I went too far in. The level of human brutality, what we will do to each other.”

Regarding the filming process, the actor shared a distressing incident when the crew had trouble removing his neck chains, causing him to panic. “I was like, ‘I want the real weight. I want the real chains,'” he said. They used old chains that didn’t work, leaving him on the verge of hyperventilating, trapped in the character’s experience.

While the physical chains were eventually removed, the emotional impact of the character stayed with Smith for a long time. Despite the challenges, he considered the role one of the greatest experiences in his career as an actor, stating, “The character Peter introduced me to God.
